Quick lunch stop, forgot it was half term so it was quite busy with little people painting their pottery. We both enjoyed our lunch generous fillings in the sandwiches. Salad garnish was delicious I will ask for a side salad as a main next time we visit.

I hosted my friends baby shower here today. Staff were absolutely fantastic and the food was great too. We had our own space, weren't rushed in anyway, had a great time pottery painting. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much Chameleon Cafe xx

Went to chameleon cafe yesterday.
Iam sorry but it wasn't good,
We gave our order to the young girl and she kept asking what we wanted after we had told her.
But she seemed confident and smiling so we didn't think to much about it then our food came but no drinks my wife asked for avocado but didn't get any the cafe was filling up with customers and the girls were busy on the till and making coffees so we didn't ask why the avocado was missing.
In the mean time we still had no drinks.
Anyway I went to pay the bill and when I told them we didn't receive any drinks or the avocado the manager was very polite and apologetic and I looked and the young girl and she seemed shocked that she had made this mistake.i don't want anything to happen to the young girl.
But unfortunately the young girl must have had other things on her mind I don't think we will be going there again

I held my baby shower here and myself and all my guests had a fantastic time. We wanted to do something that was nice and chill but still a bit different and this was the perfect choice. We had an area in the back of the cafe to ourselves which was lovely and all the staff were beyond helpful. We were a real bunch of amateurs but all had great fun painting. The sharing platters went down an absolute treat and everything just ran smoothly, it really couldn’t have been a better day. I’d absolutely recommend popping in for a visit for any kind of occasion, we’re already planning to come back. Thank you so much everyone for a really lovely day xx

Finding a restaurant that everyone in the family can agree on can be quite a challenge, but we’ve finally discovered that perfect spot! We just enjoyed a delightful lunch, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The food was fresh and delicious, and the drinks were absolutely amazing. This place is definitely going to be our go-to weekend treat.

P.S. The hot dogs were so delicious that I couldn’t resist ordering a second one!

We came for the pottery painting, the 2 ladies working were so lovely, friendly and attentive. Couldn't fault this cafe at all it's so cute.

Very nice visit, propa cosy little cafe.
Really friendly and very accommodating with the little ones with high chair and boosters.
Breakfast was a good standard, decent sausages etc.
They will literally make anything for a kids portion which was a nice touch.
The baby chino was a massive hit!
Will definitely visit here next time in Dunmow.
