Stopped by recently and was rather impressed. Sadly but pleasingly what I wanted had sold out so I had the Ruben and a coffee, the two ladies behind the counter were lovely and I really appreciated them over estimating how long the food may take as when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. When I’m back in the area it will be my coffee stop of choice.

Stopped for a refuel after a long bike ride. The staff were lovely and the Maple Flapjack I had was incredible. It did the job too as I PB'd my home segment.

Delicious Sourdough toasties at Buntingford Coffee Shop. We had a Reuben-ish - Sauerkraut, Cheddar Cheese Parma Ham, gherkins and salad with lovely Mary Berry classic dressing.
I had the Italian - Parma Ham, Mascarpone, Pesto, Sliced Tomatoes & Rocket and salad and dressing.

Very clean and quick and great service.

Great coffee

This review is for the coffee which is described as a special medium to dark roast arabica with sweet and chocolate hints. I would be amazed if this didn’t have robusta in it or was over roasted as it had the unpleasant aftertaste. On several visits with different staff all but one seemed to be well trained and capable of making good coffee if they had better beans. The one that fell short failed to apply any pressure when tamping which resulted in a watery coffee. The food here is very good, it’s a shame the coffee isn’t.

Whether you're seeking a quiet spot to unwind with a cup of joe or a vibrant space to connect with the community, The Buntingford Coffee Shop has got you covered. Their charming outdoor area is a haven for dog walkers, cyclists, and anyone wanting to immerse themselves into the community and soak up some sunshine. But their impact goes beyond brews and bites. They're a champion for the local community, providing employment for students and drawing visitors to the heart of Buntingford. We especially love catching up with friends and locals regularly after a dog walk here. It really is one of the gems of the high street!

Disappointed with our stop off here today. I picked a nice slice of cake only to find out they cut a very slim slice of the slice. I questioned them about it and they said that's the size of their cuts. Well your cakes should be already cut into slices so people see what sizes they'll be getting. When you walk into a coffee shop you pay money for a big slice, let's be honest. My girlfriend's slice is what you'd call a proper size when having cake in a coffee shop. Even the pictures on here show the size they give you, nothing like what I had.

As for the rest of the experience we had to wait about half hour or so for a toastie and a cheese sandwich. Which first came out as a sausage sandwich.
