Alex is amazing. I was recommended Alex from Jane at celebrating curves when I bought my dress. Alex helped fit my dress to me better, taking in the bust, adding a strong hook, cutting the hem and adjusting the shoulders. I felt really at ease and nothing was too much trouble. Alex also has a lovely stock of jewellery and accessories and helped me choose lovely earrings. Thank you Alex, would highly recommend x

I called Alex following a recommendation. It was a last minute request and unfortunately she was fully booked by that point. However Alex then called me a few months later remembering I initially reached out and said she could help fix my dress after I felt incredibly upset that my wedding dress was too big and not the right fit for me. At that point she was nothing but a hero for me! Alex listened to everything I said, nothing was too difficult and she understood completely why I wanted to make certain changes. After speaking with 5+ tailors, Alex was the only one who saw my vision and I trusted to make it come to life. Which she absolutely did to perfection. She also made an absolutely beautiful veil and is now preserving both the dress and veil too. I can't thank or recommend Alex enough! I'll never forget what you did for me ♥

I had the pleasure of meeting Alex at a wedding fair last year when I was looking for a wedding dress. Not only did she make me feel at ease but she also helped me choose the dress of my dreams.

I was also lucky enough to have Alex do the alterations for my dress at her fabulous studio, and in all the wedding and covid madness it was one of the loveliest and most normally things. Alex has away of making you feel at ease and at home. She has an incredible eye for detail and enough vision to overhaul the neckline of my dress into the one of my dreams. And all in double quick time. I couldn't be more grateful 🥰

And to top it all off, she hand finished me the perfect veil too! If you're looking for someone to help you with your gown, I would highly recommend her!

Alex is such a talented seamstress! I bought a Stunning wedding dress from hoops a daisy which I thought fitted well until I had it altered...honestly wow! She made sure it fitted to body perfectly, shortened it slightly & added very discreet buttons so I could take the train up for my first dance. So so clever couldn't recommend her enough. She also does a cleaning service after the wedding which is such a good idea, I'm taking mine next Monday. Thank you Alex!

I would recommend the Bridal Stitching Station without hesitation. Alex offers a fantastic service from start to finish, not only is she a very skilled seamstress and incredibly knowledgable, she is also a very lovely person. We initially went to see Alex to purchase accessories for my daughter, she was so helpful and gave us great advice; we subsequently purchased a veil and tiara which complimented my daughter and her wedding dress beautifully. When I purchased my 'mother of the bride' outfit I immediately booked in with Alex for some alterations, she did a fantastic job with my dress, making several suggestions and alterations resulting in my perfect dress. After my daughters wedding we used Alexs cleaning service for the wedding dress and veil with excellent results and they are both now in a beautiful preservation box that we purchased from Alex. Thank you for everything Alex, you are an absolute star!

Cannot recommend The Stitching Station enough!
When I first arrived with my dress, I was worried that it was too big of a job - I wanted sleeves adding with matching applique, the dress was too big and the front of it was a little too long. Alex made it look easy! Not only was she super, super wonderful throughout, she transformed an already beautiful dress into something that was really special - it felt like mine.
Any small adjustments were made over the course of my fittings and I couldn't be happier with my experience at The Stitching Station.
