Fantastic town centre location but no on-site parking. Really lovely, friendly staff who could not be more helpful. Food quality was superb! ( I had a wonderful rump steak) A very good full English brekky included in our room rate. Rooms a little pricey for the state of the decor. Our " superior" double was a little tired with some lights not working, failing paintwork and tiling ) For the money, it should have been faultless! Not sure if we would stay again!

Me and my partner came in for Saturday dinner and received a curious and excellent service from Daniel. He recommended the Napoli Forte Pizza which was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this establishment and especially ask for Daniel for service again due to this experience

We recently stayed here for a weekend away and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly, which really made the experience special. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet – just what we needed to unwind. Plus, the food was top-notch and the location couldn't have been better. We’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends!

Visited Saturday dinner time. Lovely food and drinks, both reasonably priced ! The pizza was very tasty! Special thanks to Daniel, Who Was lovely and nothing was to much trouble for him!

As a hotel is very nice, the food is really good, and the staff, specially the Spanish lady at reception, were all very nice and kind, however, if you go just for breakfast, it's not the same. Two weeks ago I went with my husband at 9.30 am, no one else at the bar, 2 members of staff, they gave us the menu, we had a seat, and after 15 min waiting, no one came to take our order, the girl was so busy looking at her phone, so we left, and went to Coffee Smith (100% recommended). It is not the first time that it happened to us, and it is really disappointed. It's gonna take a long time to try again.

Over priced. £4.60 for what turned out to be a tiny sausage roll. Really, is that the best you can do ? There was more brown sauce than sausage.
Hot chocolate that wasn't really hot.
Won't be going there again.

I stayed at the Blue Boar in a very comfortable room with a great shower and lovely comfy bed. I paid for early check in and my room was ready and in clean and tidy condition.

The internet is good and the food is amazing, which the incredible staff happily delivered via room service. In each room there is a radiator and a heat pump for those of us who have come from hot climates and need a boost of warmth.

The room has all the normal amenities, kettle, coffee, television, hairdryer etc and is very good value for money. It’s right in the centre of Witney, so is super convenient for all amenities in town. Would 100% recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The only way this could possibly be made better is including teabags as well as coffee.

My family and I came for lunch on the 1st of January. Unfortunately we had very long waits for the food and it came cold when it finally arrived. It was flavoured well and the ambience is nice but they appeared overwhelmed by a large table and it impacted our experience.

Had potential but unfortunately did not meet expectations.

After communicating this to the staff they did reduce our bill which was very appreciated.

Child pizza was also a little spicy as an fyi. Delicious for adults though.
