A lovely little pub that offers good beers and a decent selection of tapas style food. Super warm and friendly vibes and really welcoming team. Delicious locally made cider too, worth a visit!

Great pub, Joe and Ella really do a superb job. Always friendly, always helpful. Great beer, delicious wines, lovely bar snacks, the most fantastic cakes! Cosy log fires, dog friendly. A great asset for a small village location. Highly recommend, pop in on your way past, you won't be disappointed!

What a tremendous pub. Joe and Ella truly know their craft. Warm and inviting reception every time you walk in. Great knowledge of all their beers and selection of real ales, many locally sourced. There is always some lovely home made cakes and savouries with lots of GF options. Really cozy atmosphere. Oh, and some awesome cocktails with high quality spirts. Put this on your list of gems.

I only had a tea, but the cakes looked delicious. Dog friendly, a wonderful quiet pub to sit and read! Not busy on this Sunday early afternoon.

Nice place and location. Service kind and welcoming. Overall is an excellent British pub experience with some little and neglegible imperfections. All the dishes we tried were more than good, and Scotch Egg was amazing. The desserts was also extremely good. I loved the menu, the was clear, short and well focused on English typical foods. As a pub, this place deserves a 4.8 out of 5 stars but here is not possible to use fraction. Prices a little bit over the avarege, but perfectly in line with the quality offered. Personally happy to pay a little bit more to have this level of quality.

Gorgeous gem of a pub. Beautifully done tapas share plates (super baked camembert in the photo was today's special), good draught bitter, nicely lit, dog friendly. But the best thing was the service - by people with the time and enthusiasm to make a pub really great. Real pubs are run by people who care, like this.

Just had afternoon tea here, it was amazing. Great food and good value. Nothing was too much trouble for Ella & Joe, brilliant hosts.
