Brought a bread pudding which was old and crusty. The cut surface had turned dark it was that old. You could smash windows with it. Inedable.

Really disappointing...
Sausage rolls were overbaked and hard. Baguette was awful - hard rather than crunchy on the outside and polystyrene like inside. Having just moved to Bookham, we were so looking forward to having a local bakery, but the stuff we bought made Greggs look gourmet...

I tried to arrange an afternoon tea for my parents during the lockdown but with no joy, I live on the Wirral and I wanted to surprise them. I called The Bakery in Bookham who arranged a really lovely lunchtime treat of sandwiches, sausage rolls and cakes which my brother collected. Thank you so much. They were thrilled and so was I. They lady I spoke to was so charming and took it upon herself to make this so enjoyable. Thank you all again ❤️

Been going to this little bakers for a long time but the bread seems to have changed. Collected a large bloomer again today. Unfortunately it was very bland with no flavour.
You also struggle to get a good bloomer with poppy seeds on these days.
