Closed at 10:40, staff would rather hide around waiting for people to walk away from the door than quickly allow late working people to get their food for the next day. I saw staff in the reflection just watching CCTV screen and the door. Also, the smell in the store is screaming BO. Food quality is 2-3 day shelf-life. Fridges are CONSTANTLY out of order for months at a time. Horrendous shop - avoid if possible.

Very unfriendly staff I am Disabled and my last visit in the store was very unpleasant, one Member of staff was looking at me as if I were a thief and the security guy followed me outside and was watching me whilst I was struggling to put my groceries in bag I do not appreciate that type of behaviour, Do Not Visit this Store.

Borderline sufficient for necessity, always busy. Quite dirty and almost always chaotic in there. The security staff is always highly alert and maybe oversensitive, more than often being seen to follow customers around conspicuously.

Avoid frozen food, bought some frozen battered cod just to find out later that they must’ve left the stock in room temperature for a long time before being put in the freezer again, or broken freezer.

Even by Tesco standards this is the worst store I’ve seen. Before heatwave fridges regularly were out of action or at a nice ‘chilled’ 14°C!! Staff don’t seem to care and the place is always disgustingly dirty and untidy. Have complained to Tesco’s customer services previously but to avail. Amazed that they let this store continue under their name!! AVOID

It has 3 stars because it's been refurbished at some point & quite thoroughly too, so yeh, that I like as majority of access has improved....but I did hover over the stars as there seems to be two members of staff that seem hell-bent on making the experience a horrible one & one I don't want to repeat..I went twice in March 2024 & not too long on burying my 44 year old son, who grew up around here. I'm also citing two members of staff only as well and on both visits I felt watched & monitored by a light skin guy who may be the manager of that Tesco's local & the same security guard at the sliding doors, he's slightly darker skin and not very tall, I'm 5 foot female in my 60's, so he might be 5 ft 5 Other staff friendly, helpful when they weren't kept mad busy...so fellow customers are v kind with stuff about 7 ft high...I'm not a shop lifter and didn't appreciate being treated like one!! My 1st mini shop I spent almost £50....the 2nd i chose to put my two items back partly because of them & i forgot my tesco card so i bounced...i put a lot of weight on inlock-down!! Get at attitude change, maybe some therapy might help?!!....very disappointed.

5 stars purely for the music that they play on the PA system - whoever picks the playlists is on a real vibe

Avoid this shop. Unfriendly. ..fridges where they keep meat not really working. Chicken breast swims in some kind of water when you open it stinks and is slimy.
Just got seveal food poisoning and I will call police about it.
Would buy that chicken again to be tested.
It's not run propelly those people know that shoppers have no options because there's lack of proper shops.
It's getting worst with brexit people come from far away places just to make few bucks and they actually hate London and it's people so for them selling old meat or not propelly stored meat is normal as they don't eat stuff from there. .Hope it will shut soon...We should make sure about it.

Actualisation as per 2024..
Absolutely rubbish staff following people thinking they will steal..
Anyway..
If 2 chicken breast are priced at 16 pounds no wonder people still food.
I don't do yet but with those prices would I have a choice.?soon maybe..
