My partner and I did the tour and tasting experience last week. The owner Gary was lovely and very knowledgeable. It was interesting to see the working distillery and how their products are made. They were generous and let us try multiple drinks including Gin, Vodka, limoncello and Rum, we also got to try then new variety Wolfberry gin that isn't out yet, which was lovely, a very different flavour. Highly reccomend as a lovely experience. Will be letting our friends know, truly a good product and very kind owner.

Excellent afternoon at Suffolk distillery where you get to make your own gin with helpful staff to explain what to do how to do it and then when you've got yours on the go you get to taste all their brands what they make onsite and to have a look at their big distiller where they make it all a excellent afternoon and can highly recommend going and doing it because you get to take your own bottle home at the end of the day good or bad and you get to name your own gin a great experience and can highly recommend to anyone who loves gin

Learn how Gin, Vodka, Run, Whiskey and Brandy are made. This little distillery does it all! We've learned a lot and got to try about 10 different drinks, all made here. Our favourites were the rhubarb gin and spiced rum (which we also bought). Thanks Gary for having us and good luck with the sloe gin batch!

Back in january this year 2024 I stumbled upon "Suffolk Distillery", as a Gin lover this place offered an opportunity to attend a tasting tour, with excitement I booked a tour for June 22nd at 12 mIdday! When his day arrived I drove from my house in Walton On the Naze driving through the beautiful Essex and Suffolk countryside, arriving at The Suffolk Distillery site I was immediately impressed with the sharpness of the overall site along with the beautiful views! I went inside and was meet and greeted by Gary, unknowingly he was the owner! what a lovely unassuming and down to earth person he is! He explained to me that I was the only person booked on this tour, well i was really happy as it would give me that 1 to 1 experience.
We chatted a bit as I was early and this gave me the chance to tell him a little about myself and leading on to me asking him about himself, I soon realised how clever this man really is!! as a qualified Chemist he has used his knowledge to his and our advantage!
All I can say His Passion, Knowledge and Skill as a Master Distiller is second to none!!
The products that he produces are extraordinary each one that I sampled was amazing you don't need to search for the flavours and aromas, they are there immediately but develop in your mouth into something magical, for example the Strawberry Gin is just that Fresh Strawberries nothing else! Gary has used his skill and knowledge to add Cucumber to this, giving this Gin amazing freshness! this is what I noticed about everything that I sampled the balance was so precise! none of the flavours are overpowering or fighting with each other to come through!
I made a comment to Gary about the fact that I like Limoncello but my opinion was Limoncello is Limoncello is Limoncello! Woa how wrong can someone be!!! OMG his Limoncello is outstanding it's incredible how the flavour of Fresh Lemons comes through, it's not overly sharp or sweet!again the balance is perfection!
One of my favourites was the Wolfberry Gin! I've never tasted anything like this it has a rush of what I would describe as a cranberry flavour not sweet or sour bur rich berry flavour which slowly changes to a creaminess on the tongue!
I would like to thank Gary for the tour and defiantly the tasting!!

Random, yet awesome, find. Girlie weekend catch up and needed something to do and this was perfect. So interesting to hear about the history of gin and seeing how spirits are made. The (not so) small tasting session after was excellent!! ?

I had my birthday party here on a Saturday night. We had a fabulous time, the team were so welcoming and worked very hard to make it the perfect evening. The location is unique, everyone found it very interesting and the gins are fab. We were able to arrive early and trial our decorations and everyone was so accommodating. We were fed seamlessly with delicious pizza by the yummy Piccolo Pizz van. I can't recommend it highly enough as a party venue. Thank you Gary and everyone.
