Beautiful place. Free ample car parking. Friendly staff, especially the lady at the front desk. Should keep a day to enjoy the place. Kids enjoyed the play area as well. Would have been better if the steps for kids play area was more closer and less steeper for the little ones. Beautiful garden, palace and surroundings. Was not crowded when we visited. Would definitely recommend.

Sudeley Castle is absolutely beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. I've been to many castles and this one was my favorite by far. Beautiful gardens surround the castle and the church that Katherine Parr is buried in. You can really feel the history within the grounds and castle itself as you walk through time. The exhibition is very insightful and informative on Sudeley and the castle rooms you can feel the history and the time that has flowed through it. Don't hesitate to go to Sudeley, it's stunning, that much so that'll ill be returning to find out more about this beautiful castle.

Sudeley Castle is a glorious place to visit. It's steeped in history and makes you feel like you are stepping through a door into another time. It's a great place to take the kids with elephants (not real ones 😂) everywhere, a live peacock, wibbly wobbly hedges and loads of nooks and crannies to explore. It's still a family home and when you go into the castle rooms you can feel that. The gardens are glorious with the blossom at the moment - it's a wow at every turn.

Fantastic experience

We visited as a historic houses memeber. Otherwise, we noted it was £23 pound entry for an adult or £50 something for a family ticket ( good vaule). It's a great home and grounds, and it costs a lot to run. I'm sure the ticket price is absolutely justified, I just personally feel it locks many people out on adult ticket prices.

The castle is lived in and still used today so you see a very small part of the castle, which is very interesting and full of history, staff are fantastically helpful and full of knowledge, the castle isn't fully accessible for wheelchair users of those with limited mobility although they do offer support

The grounds and gardens are well kept and beautiful. Plenty of toilets available inculding baby changeing and accessible toilets.

They have all terrain wheel chairs also to help navigate the gardens. There are accessible routes marked, but being fully accessible would be somewhat difficult.

The cafe closes at 4 pm every day, so if you're planing of getting a snack or takeaway coffee before leaving , plan before 4 pm.

Large play park is also within the grounds along with interactive displays.

It's an enjoyable and interesting castle we will return on day, I'm sure.

Fab day out - very interesting exhibits, castle grounds were beautiful, kids loved the adventure playground & the reenactment staff. Only downside was the cafe - food was very mediocre and extremely expensive - another time we'd take a picnic.

Really interesting place with an incredible amount of history - would 100% recommend going on one of the 45 minute tours as an easy way to find out its past. Our tour guide was Denise and she was absolutely fabulous - so knowledgeable and friendly and great at pointing things out as we wandered through the grounds (there are a lot of benches throughout so there was somewhere to sit down at every talking point)! The cafe by the car park serves a nice lunch with a hot meal, soup, pasties/sausage rolls, and cakes, and there’s a kiosk by the house selling drinks and snacks too.

Excellent place to go for a day out, well worth the admission fee.
Was somewhat sceptical about how much there would be to do but we ended up staying for nearly 5 hours. Whilst we don't have kids we did notice there is a huge play area for kids which seemed popular.
The Pavilion Café was a nice space but the food offering was a bit disappointing. Somewhat limited menu and the food itself didn't look great so we just had a hot drink and ate elsewhere. But despite this a great day out and would certainly recommend a visit.
