Took my 8yr old son for his first fishing experience; we both had a great time at Rosedale Lake. I hadn't done any lake fishing since my teens so didn't really know how to set up our cheap rods for the lake. Stuart was on hand to help put together the tackle we needed and show us how to use it. We had over half an hour of his time and expertise, effectively for free. The cost of the tackle and rod passes seemed so cheap (below £20 in total). My son caught his first fish and about four more during the rest of the morning. Thanks to Stuart for a great fishing experience. We hope to come back one day.
