A lovely warm welcome awaited us in Strawberry Fields Farm shop. I love what they’ve done with the place. This is a fantastic combination of deli, cafe and electric charge car park. Several counters laden with savoury and sweet pastries will have your mouth watering before you reach the till.

Our visit followed an all day kayak trip on the river Dart. There’s a perfect slipway at the back of the car park and we had asked in advance if it would be ok to park for the day. The owners were very relaxed about it and we were more than happy to indulge in cups of tea and a slice of lemon drizzle after our adventure.

I’d planned to stop at the EV chargers here, but didn’t realise there was a farm shop.

We popped in whilst the car was charging, what an incredible shop and the food looked and tasted amazing!!

The colleagues were really friendly, 100% would recommend and well worth a visit!

Myself and family pulled into the cafe with our caravan as a breakfast stop before heading back up to Birmingham, the car park itself is very spacious and can/ will accommodate all customers, along with the Osprey charging stations!
The food and drink was absolutely fantastic!! Not greasy or fatty, the wait time on food was very reasonable too, will definitely be coming back!!

Easy access off A38, a welcome pit-stop for people and vehicles, with lots of rapid chargers, at last someone has grasped the future and made it easy to top-up to and from the west country.
Although the chargers a quick, there's still time to enjoy and snack and buy from the produce on offer.
I had a well filled tasty steak pasty an my wife enjoyed the cheese and chutney scotch eggs.

This place is awesome, not just a great place to get on a fast car charger bit a delightful farm shop with fresh produce, baked goods, groceries, the whole lot. And the staff are really friendly and helpful. Lots of seating inside and out, there's even a covered outdoor area for weather hardy smokers.

It's absolutely amazing. They sell beautiful, freshly made items from jams to pasties. Plenty of parking and EV's are located in the main car park to allow patrons to charge while they shop. There is also a picnic area for patrons to relax and eat the food bought in the farm shop. Dogs welcome so long as they are kept on leads. Highly recommended.

Had high hopes for this as my Plymouth friends are always raving about the main shop in Lifton.
This is a much smaller shop & the on-site cafe currently doesn't offer their infamous afternoon teas.
It has a large electric car charging area plus a gravel car park for those vehicles who don't need / want a charging point.
NB currently it is a card only establishment although they are getting some tills in very soon so cash can then also be accepted.
They sell fruit & vegetables grown in Lifton, plus an array of their own home-made preserves.
They sell local eggs & freshly made bread too.
They sell home-made fresh pies including steak, chicken & mushroom, homity & fruit (large pies cost £7.) Also a good selection of home-made quiches for the same price.
They had a very small selection of vacuum packed meat & sausages.
We visited at lunchtime so it was very busy. Most of their home-made individual cakes & buns had sold out.
They offer sandwiches, scotch eggs, pasties & pizza slices to eat in or take-away. I bought a traditional & a cheese/ chutney scotch egg & a large homity pie - all were good quality & well seasoned.
Also ice cream & frozen pies.
During such busy periods they really need a separate tills for the cafe & the shop as you have to queue in the long cafe queue even if you're just buying shop produce.
The most concerning thing for us was that when you leave the shop & walk back to the gravel car park, the wooden steps stick up out of the ground by about 2 inches. To have such a trip hazard at the top of the steps is simply an accident waiting to happen & it needs to be remedied immediately.

Very useful stop off on long drives. Just off the dual carriageway. A good and new set of EV charge points (Osprey).

Very impressive offerings of fresh looking sandwiches and cakes, and a wide range of local farm produce for sale.

Coffee was slightly bitter, not as good as the food on offer looked and tasted.

All in all, well worth noting down as a good place to break a journey.
