A group of us went on the tour last Saturday and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
Paul is extremely knowledgeable about the history of gin, and it was also very interesting to learn about the journey they had been on since their initial idea of creating Stockport Gin.
All their gins are excellent and the majority of our party bought bottles to take home with them.
I recommend this tour for anyone with even the slightest interest in gin.

My partner and I attended the distillery tour this weekend, and we absolutely loved it! Paul, the owner and tour guide, was fantastic—so knowledgeable and incredibly personable. Stockport Gin is truly one of the best out there. I’m not usually a big gin drinker, but after learning more about it and tasting some high-quality, premium gins, my perspective has completely changed. Whether you’re a gin enthusiast or just looking for a fun and unique way to spend a few hours, I highly recommend this tour!

We had such a fantastic experience last night, making our own gin was such a wonderful treat, a brilliant atmosphere and some fabulous people thrown into the mix meant we enjoyed it throughly!

Paul is so knowledgeable about all things gin, and answered every single question that was thrown his way, full of lots of tips and advice throughout the entire process of our gin making journey and he gave us an even deeper insight to @stockportgin and their background which was lovely to hear.

We were welcomed with a double G&T, we got three throughout this whole experience, the first one which was their original gin and a very nice one too, if you’ve not tried any of the @stockportgin this is a great one to start with, our second one was the twist of lime gin, my absolute FAVE out of the whole collection and finally put third gin was our own gin that we made we got to taste it and it was incredible.

Paul showed us all around the distillery and explained the process and how much time and effort goes into the whole gin making for them, it’s such a labour of love and you can really tell this is everything for them both and that it means so much, which is a really wonderful thing.

Then we went up to the gin school, were everything regarding us making our own gin was explained, Paul went through everything step by step and made sure we all understood everything that was going to be happening, Paul was on hand to help us with everything, giving advice and tips to help enhance our gin distilling process, we got to pick all our own botanicals, we bottled, named and labelled all our own gins and that was such a brilliant experience.

We went for a very citrus forward gin, we hand picked 6 botanicals to go in our gin, we chose the following: lime peel, orange peel, lemon peel, liquorice root, pink peppercorn and kaffir lime leaves and let me tell you this gin was a absolute WINNER ?

Overall this was a such a great way for us to spend a Friday evening together.

Great atmosphere which was very relaxed and informative. All the gin we tasted was great and it was interesting to hear the story behind their creation. We would definitely recommend, but don’t drive as the measures are generous.

Did a tour of this place . It’s only a couple of rooms but was thoroughly enjoyable . Great to hear the history behind this local gin . The man who gave the tour makes it with his wife . Fantastic enthusiasm and dedication to his gin . Extremely good value for money . Had two double G&T along with 5 samples of the gin . Will be going back to their gin school they offer to make our own gin . Well we’ll with the trip
