An oasis on the edge of central Cambridge. A remarkably refreshing change from the usual chain stores. Staff very welcoming and excellent service. Food is above par and plentiful. I rate their cappuccino's as excellent. Atmosphere on a Sunday pleasantly busy.

Exquisite brunch! A perfect place for brunch with high quality produce and beautifully prepared food. The place is always busy, and I can see why.
The 'Big Brunch' was especially great. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the avocado was fresh, halloumi grilled just the right amount, perfectly toasted sourdough, and the additional smoky beans very tasty. The chilli jam was a perfect complement. The warm banana bread was delicious, and the caramelised fresh banana on top was a perfect addition. The flat white was well made. One of the best (if not the best) brunch places in Cambridge!

This is my favourite coffee shop in Cambridge, I come here every day! The coffee is high quality made by experienced baristas and the pastries are delicious and made from natural ingredients. The staff is always very polite. The only downside is that this place is so popular that in the weekend you might need to wait in a queue for 20-30 minutes just to get a table.

Lovely place with busy indoors whenever I come in and tables outside to enjoy some sun and fresh air, some privacy too.

Super friendly service during brunch visit. Been few times will definitely be back to try different things.

Brunch Club Meal Saturday 18 January 2025
I arrived at the venue at 9.15 am, and I called the daughter, to tell her that I was outside the venue, and would wait for her to arrive, as we had agreed to meet there at 9.30 am, when she arrived, we went inside the cafe, at which point she told me that she had invited her father to come as well, and that she forgot to tell me that he was coming, (it turned out that it was a good thing that he came, as they had planned to go away for the weekend) and that she needed help with packing.
The daughter ordered a Large Hot Chocolate drink with Oat Milk, (she had bought along her own Travel Mug), and I ordered a Medium English Breakfast Tea, and two pieces of Gluten Free Chocolate Brownie as well.

When the Father arrived and saw us seated, he sat down, and ordered a Bacon Sandwich, with Sourdough Bread and two Coffee Lattes, one to drink in the cafe, and one to take away.

After a short while, we all got up and left the cafe, and I said to the daughter that I would contact her soon, and I said good bye to the father as well, and I said the same to him.

Overall the experience, service and food that we had was very good.

Breakfast was ok, but nothing special as per reviews: sourdough was very tasty but eggs and bacon not the best quality sadly, halloumi was over toasted and dry and sadly no salad on majority of the dishes.

We tried amazingly looking pastries too but were very disappointed: cinnamon bun - quite dry and no taste of buttery yeasted dough. Croissant was overcrowded with Nutella inside - you can't feel the taste of pastry at all. Feels like you're eating pure unhealthy Nutella.
Ferrero doughnut - same Nutella over-taste. You can't taste the doughnut at all.

Nice cafe and coffee is good but croissant is a joke.
Ordered a Nutella croissant but it was not filled with Nutella basically you are charged an extra £1 for a drizzle of Nutella ! I challenged it and paid for a plain croissant instead but honestly it is not worth the £3.30!! It taste really terrible, clearly not made with butter ( maybe oil?).
Keep your money and go to Maison Clément instead where pure butter croissant cost £1.90.
Even the croissant from Lidl taste better at a third of the price…
