I was happy to wait a short while due to limited customers at one time. Excellent selection of plants and flowers but I was after veg seedlings, not many available but very friendly staff assured me the full selection would be ready in 3 to 4 weeks.
Had some very good plants in the past so I will call back mid April.

A local community nursery that sells its home grown produce for the benefit of the people that grow it. The money spent in the nurseries shop directly supports the charity. All the produce is priced below the big garden centres , so it's a win win. You get good quality produce at a good price, while also supporting a local charity. I will be returning for my Christmas wreath again this year, as it's one of the best available and at a good price.

I found the staff at stakeford nurseries very helpful and informative especialy the staff member called steven he was able to awnser all of my querys about buying plants best spots to plant them and best time to plant for maximum growth wgen and how to prune he was very helpful would highly recomend going to this place there plants and shrubs are very we looked after pricecs are okay and its a charitable run nurserie thank you for all your help and expert information will be coming back for more in future steven is a credit to your orginisation and extreamly polite

A real gem of a find. All manner of plants and gardening wares at sensible (as opposed to Garden Centre) prices. Not the most flexible of opening times, but definitely worth making the effort to get there.
