We went for a Spurn Safari tour with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. We are getting married in the summer nearby and wanted to explore more of the area. From the moment we entered the site, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff, who even let us grab a coffee before the cafe opened. The centre is well maintained too. Our tour guide Kerry, was friendly, adaptable and we had such a positive experience. The tour combined my partner's love of military history and my love of nature and wildlife. Would recommend this experience. We'll back to walk it next time! Such a unique, wild and rugged place!

It's a long walk around 6 miles all in,but we'll worth it. Take plenty to drink, loads of places to have a picnic. The point is amazing on even in the rain

A truly open, wild & natural nature reserve. Managed by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust it offers visitors walks, bird & insect spotting as well as a truly get away from it all experience. There is parking adjacent to the visitor centre which is on a level road level surface giving easy access to the centre. The centre serves refreshments as well as superb sausage cobs & other tasty treats. There is courtyard seating but as far as I could see there was no disabled access to the cafeteria. Well worth a visit.

Amazing day out, be prepared for a long walk and lots of beauty. Walking around the point, you may spot a seal as I did. Very peaceful spot.

Brilliant place to escape and explore. Not enamoured by the ywt who 'own' the peninsular. Six mile walk there and back, unless you own a fat wheeled electric bike. Also, observe tide times

A truly unique place, where the Humber Estuary meets the North Sea. Bags of history, an important area, for migratory birds seems to attract twitchers from across the country. The road to the peninsula or Spurn Head is now permanently severed and can only be reached by foot or a unimog (Army Lorry)which can take the less abled to the Head. Unfortunately no dogs are permitted. Stick this place in your bucket list. Occasionally you can have this place to yourself ,!

Really great long walk in a beautiful nature reserve. The lighthouse is great to visit and it was open when I went so a great chance to go up to the top. There are also a number of abandoned army buildings from the world wars which are really interesting.

What a great place the cafe and exhibition were well worth a look for a coffee were good the walk was great mix of beach and dune walking it was a long walk over soft sand there was lots of wildlife to see we seen seals ,birds insects and butterfly's there is a beach transport at a cost if you don't fancy the walk I would highly recommend this place for a vist
