In the main, the shop staff are friendly but there are a few that pass comments on what people are buying. They are not there to police or judge peoples' shopping. They are there to give service with a smile, not an opinion.

I’d have given a zero if I could!! Refused a £50 English note, one sign up at the till and apparently it’s company policy? Never been refused in any other spar. It’s not hard to get a money pen or the light.

No customer toilet!!!!!! Spent nearly £70 and can't spend a penny! Disgusting when there are no public toilets.

Wasn’t that busy when we visited. Didn’t have to wait long at all to be served. Cashier was friendly and greeted us with a smile which was nice to see. They had a little bit of banter which was also nice. Isn’t that big of a store but had what we needed in it.

Next time I’m in the area I shall be visiting again.

Went in at 9.45pm and wouldn't sell me any scratch cards. Barking at me that they have counted them AND there was still 15 mins of trade time left. Won't be going back any time soon. You have lost me go spin Spar ! !

I would give 0 stars if I could. we went a few weeks ago and by accident we joined the wrong que (the customers were queuing down an the second aisle you could see) The old woman with scruffy orange/blonde/brwon hair behind the counter let us get to the front of the what we thought was the que and then shouted at us that 'actually the que is over there' - if she had informed us earlier we would have moved and didn't realise. She was very rude and spoke to us like children. She lacked manners and customer service. She was rude and carried on been rude as we left when we put our basket down to shop elsewhere - we went to Tesco 2 mins up the road a lot cheaper and MORE FRIENDLY with great customer service.

I arrived at spar hoping to get just a packet of short bread arrived at 9:53 whitch is a good 5 minutes before closing time as you can see is 10 o’clock to a guy stood at the door I arrived in a polite manner at the time for the gentleman at the door to say “ we’ve shut the till bye” whitch I didn’t take Kindley to seen so I had worked 1 and a half miles to get there, I buy most my shopping from spar but that’s changed from now on after this experience I will not be spending anymore money in the spar I’d rather go to Tesco then give these people my money
