Lots of choice to choose from. For a long time, we had wanted to update our open-plan living and dining room lights, but hadn't found anything we liked until we found this shop by chance. Both staff were welcoming and friendly. One of the items we wanted wasn't in stock, Siobhan arranged for it to be delivered to us. It arrived on time and in good condition. The lights do make our room look more pleasant and modern.

For those who are sensitive to bright light, should install dimmer switches as the light bulbs that come with the products are very bright.

Amazing place with extremely helpful staff. We have been looking for some "modern" wall lighting for a while and all the retailers we visited did not have what we wanted. This shop is amazing. Although we couldn't see what we wanted, the ladies brought out a huge book for the maker we liked - Mantra -- and we found the exact ones we wanted - Mantra Toronto. Ordered and with us within 3 working days. We will definitely be using this store again.! Thank you for all your help. Couldn't download photos but they look fantastic!

Went into the store which is well stocked and lots to choose from. We couldn’t quite find the lights we wanted from what was out on display but we were helped by David who worked with us and found some options they had that weren’t on display. This isn’t our first time buying lights from here and likely won’t be our last. Great shop, well priced and good service! Thank you

Ordered two ceiling diffusers, was not notified of delivery date or anything for that matter after purchase.

One diffuser was damaged so I took photos and emailed them, I also made contact by phone. They said they would update me on what to do next but didn’t so sent another email 4 days later and also called them to ask about it, they said they would be in contact which they were but this was another few days later.

When they did get back to me they said they were waiting on a response from the supplier, 9 days have now passed and still no update.

I have a feeling I will have to buy the same light from a different shop which bearing in mind they were £145 each is massively insulting to me.

Moved house approximately 7 years ago and got virtually all my lights for the kitchen lounge hall porch and stairs from Solihull lighting....went back recently to buy lights for my neice as a new home present and was very disappointed. The shop only had half of the usual stock, it use to be full of all designs and you could see lights suitable for all properties however it's now full of oversized ''blingy' lights. I appreciate that there are books and online to view however the shop floor needs variety for customers to see.

I purchased a very large chandelier before Christmas. Despite being really well packed, one of the glass decorative flowers was broken. I telephoned & spoke to Rachael who asked me to take a photo of the damaged flower. Within 3 days I had a replacement glass flower. Now that's what I call excellent customer service. Since installing the chandelier I've communicated with Rachael & I am over the moon with her kind approach & outstanding customer service. I will certainly recommend Solihull Lighting to friends & family & will continue to be a customer of theirs.

We spent a while looking through their website to find lights we liked the look of and went into the shop today to see if we could see any of them in person. We are doing a full gut and refurb on a house, so we need a lot of lights. Not one of the lights we liked from their website were on display in the store. No big deal, we understand they have limited space. We asked what the return policy is given we'd be ordering 1000s of pounds worth of lights from their website sight unseen. We were told they can't be returned. This is completely against the Consumer Contracts Regulations which require a 14 day cooling off period for items purchased that haven't been seen in person. It's also completely at odds with the returns policy on their website! We would have been making a very large order, but we will be taking our business somewhere with less shady practices.

Have bought a few lights from here and they are patient and knowledgeable.
Great choice of lights, and many furnishings.
A few parking spaces outside, but not many.
Failry large store with a maze of lights.
