Calm and helpful guy at service. Lots of products on small shop but well laid out. We were looking after cats for a week so needed basic supplies plus treats. We got everything we needed and wanted. Nice atmosphere, proper local shop.

March 2018, the new post office in Beacon Hill has been open for two weeks now, easier to combine popping in to post a parcel or any of the other myriad things you can do at a post office with a bit of shopping now. The range of goods on sale was wider than expected. Worth a look certainly.

Awful service the owner an Asian woman, was very rude and so unhelpful. Very argumentative and the food was out of date.. make sure you check the expiry dates!

It is really useful having a much more accessible post office combined with a shop that offers a wide variety of goods (and the majority of which at reasonable prices), but I have noticed a few times goods that are past their sell-by-date or best-before date being sold; as an example, a special price bakewell tart I'd bought on the 10th of January was listed in small writing on the wrapper as being best before the end of the 4th, and a separate time a large carton of milk I'd got there had a slow leak.

My car broke down just outside this shop
The staff where very helpful allowed my daughter and I use their loo while waiting for the AA
The shop was selling smoked sausage they were very good
