I purchased two 5' x 3' sheds to expand my storage space in my garden. The sheds are well made and they arrived Saturday. Highly Recommend

Bought a shed, checked the width, height and length, opted for double doors so I knew I could get my tool chest in.
Didn’t think for one minute the shed doors would be 1600mm high (approx 5ft).
Why would anyone want doors made for children !
Roof panels were built 45mm out of square and double nailed with a factory nail gun. I was told by the company to drop the panel on the corner until it became square…..not what you want to hear after paying out over 800.00 for the privilege of having it made by a ā€œprofessional ā€œ.
Pity, as the materials look ok. Just the design and workmanship letting the company down.
I would advise looking elsewhere unless your under 5ft tall and don’t care about quality of build.

Bought a shed, when it turned up i was sceptical on the quality. Nonetheless spent 2 days building and treating it with 3 coats of ronseal shed protection. 4 months later, the shed has already started to collapse. The roof has warped the walls have warped making the door difficult to open, the featheredge boards are cracking and falling off. Absolutely awful quality timber (and fixings) the ā€˜structural’ timbers are made from 25mm square battons which cant hold any weight. Ive had to re-enforce the floor because my foot fell through the original. Once i contacted the company, they didn’t want to know at all, essentially blaming me for all the faults. Saying that because the back of shed is near a fence panel its caused the front and the roof to warp Basically its collapsing in slow motion. No common sense from the customer services, seem like the sole objective for them is to avoid any responsibility. So unless you’re going to be using the shed as firewood, i would avoid this company like the plague. I’ve pretty much paid Ā£500 for a pile of wood. Joke of a company

Response to their reply:
This is a perfect illustration of the complete lack of common sense I’ve described above. The ā€˜slight modifications’ are the repair to the floor that was so thin it was breaking as you walked on it. If you look at the pictures I’ve uploaded they really don’t do it justice but you can see the entire front of the shed has warped along with the ā€˜joists’/sticks holding up the roof. To offer me a replacement sheet of mdf for the roof and a bit of wood filler literally makes no sense, that’s obviously not going to solve any of the issues I’ve had.

Overall i was asking for my money back so i could replace it with a shed that’s structurally sound, or at least some money to make the necessary repairs. The true reason they wouldn’t do any of this is because there wasn’t 600mm (2ft) clearance behind the shed, even though it was the front and roof which are the problem. They also said that if you dont pre-treat with a wood preservative and then followed by an additional waterproofing top coat it voids the warranty. Luckily I did the wood preservative before painting it, but really you shouldn’t need to. Its a shed, shed’s live outside, it should be pressure treated as a standard. Ultimately they put these barriers in the way of having any warranty so they don’t have to take responsibility for the problems you’re certain to have. I’ve never seen a shed with 600mm clearance all the way around the outside? Who wants a shed in the middle of the garden.

Bearing in mind the shed is essentially collapsing the ā€˜super helpful’ advice i got given was to sand it down and repaint it? Makes sense.

I’ve never left a review on anything before, but this was so bad i felt i had to. I just wish i had read the reviews before. My advice to anyone thinking of buying a shed from this lot is DON’T! Pay a little bit more and go somewhere where you can actually see it before you buy it.

Fantastic service, ultra friendly staff and an extremely well built product.

I specifically dealt with John and Naomi at Mercia Garden Supplies. Very helpful always and swift to respond to any question.

Top marks!

I really wish I read the reviews before I purchased. I purchased a shed last year October and it’s currently still under guarantee. It’s full of gaps, the roof is leaking, I have a constant puddle of water on the floor and the door drags, overall it’s a mess! Poor quality wood!
I’ve been in contact with customer service on numerous occasions and they have offered me a replacement board or a partial refund of Ā£30! It’s a Ā£600 shed! 😔 Such disgusting service and I will definitely be taking it further.
I would not recommend!

I recently purchased a shed from sheds.co.uk. The shed was a windowless version, however a shed with windows was sent. Upon contacting their customer services I was told that I had ordered the version with windows, which was not the case. For replacement panels to be sent I would need to pay, this is very disappointing and frustrating. It’s not possible to get through to anybody on the telephone to discuss this further, responses seemed very AI generated via email. I would not buy from here again and would not recommend them to other others unfortunately.

A great company. I’ve had two buildings from them. In both cases I have had great service quick delivery. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The product are easy to put up and great quality. The base options are a great help. Will continue to use this company highly recommend.

Shocking service from Mercia, the provider of the sheds. We spent £1,500 on a shed that is so flimsy and poorly built. After 12 emails of trying to resolve the issues you can see in the photos, the outcome was that it was out fault! Windows didn't fit. Door is sagging. Had to reinforce the floor with extra wood under the shed as it felt like you were going to fall through. Parts were broken on arrival. I had to provide some of my own materials to get the job done as they tried to refuse construction. Avoid at all costs in my opinion. Such poor service all round.
