The best workspace in Hitchin. A really comfortable space with a handy privacy booth to take calls in, and a meeting room you can book. Everyone is super-friendly too - it feels like a proper office space with none of the usual disadvantages 🙂

Generally lovely and great friendly atmosphere in creative surroundings.

Free tea and coffee is a nice touch, as well as the discount to the awesome coffee shop next door if you fancy something a bit ... fancier.

Some community events to enhance the freelancer/community experience would be a great touch, and later opening times/ability to use it later.

Highly recommend for great price and great team.

Shared Space Hitchin is an excellent place to work.

There’s a team of people who work there regularly, many running independent (and very varied) businesses, as well as a collection of hot desks. Everyone is incredibly friendly and it’s a wonderfully creative and calm environment, making working there both enjoyable and highly productive.

The space is conveniently located just off the town square and beside an excellent coffee shop, which you get a discount for if you’re using Shared Space. There are also nice facilities, including a bookable meeting room, a small private room for any confidential calls, and a bathroom and kitchen, and the wifi is fast and reliable.

I couldn’t recommend Shared Space more highly. A big thank you to Dan and Mark for creating this great community resource!

Such a great place to work out of and the hot desking is so flexible. Bright and airy, with kitchen facilities, and Dan and Mark are so welcoming. Great to have friendly company and people to chat to if want to, as well as peace to get on with work without distractions at home. Right in middle of town, but good value, especially if book 5 sessions. The meeting room is an added bonus too. Can't recommend enough!

A great, quiet but friendly place to work.
The desks are well set up with socially distanced space around them, but close enough so that you don't feel isolated.
There's the option to chat to co-workers in the kitchen if you want to, or completely zone out and focus on your work at your desk without interruption.
Ideally located in the town centre, with the added bonus of Wakelin's coffee shop and cafe right outside the door. I highly recommend!

Shared Space Hitchin is a really lovely place to go and work. It’s got a few people who work from there full time and everyone is very friendly and welcoming while respecting your space to work. There’s a real mix of people who use the space which makes for very interesting conversations! Plus, it’s right in the town centre so it is surrounded by lots of places to grab coffee, lunch or after work drinks. All of this for less than the cost of my train ticket into London! Very much looking forward to my next visit to Shared Space!

It's such a great place to spend the day working - it's easy to focus and comfortable but has the right level of buzz to make it enjoyable, too. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, which is very comforting after 18 months of barely meeting any new people! My day at Shared Space is consistently the most productive day of the week.

I went along to try out a hot desk and found Shared Space to be perfect for my needs. Mark and Dan run the place with a relaxed and friendly attitude and I enjoyed it so much I now take space on one of their fixed desk options.

Highly recommend for people looking to escape the usual humdrum of home working!
