I needed my wedding dress altered to make bigger. Firstly, the zip was apparently widened and there were supposed to be a hook and eye added to the wsist and the top of the dress. They weren't added because she forgot and the dress felt no different. My partner dropped my dress off again and I'd asked for a corset back to be added instead of the zip. I have my dress back again and no corset back or hooks and eyes added. It fits no differently that when I first took it in. My wedding is in 2 days. I'm gutted and left with no choice but to wear it as is, because I'm not going to take it back a third time just to be upset again. Lady is nice enough hence the two stars, but the whole thing has been very upsetting. I would not recommend.

Very friendly and did a good job of a suit jacket adjustment. Was a little sceptical at first as the seamstress was ill the day I came in for a fitting so it was done over a video call, but to her credit she managed an excellent fit. Good prices too.

Really grateful to Matt for his excellent service of my singer 4423 machine. The timing was out, and a few other things were needing attention and he was thorough, courteous and left my machine in wonderful condition.
Matt responded to my initial email within an hour or two, and we were able to schedule a home visit straight away. I highly recommend this business for any repairs or servicing your sewing machine might need.

I came to Julie with 4 weeks to go to my niece's wedding. Being an non-standard size and shape, finding an outfit had been difficult. Despite being right in the middle of wedding and prop and ball season, Julie accommodated me. She suggested we altered the dress I had and has advised me on accessories. Always cheerful, always helpful, Julie made me feel like my dress was the most important on her table. Thank you for helping me to know that I will go to my niece's wedding looking the best I can possibly look!!

The ladies at Sew and Sew did a fabulous job of altering my wedding dress recently. The dress was something of a challenge as it had been altered clumsily by a previous owner, but Sew and Sew were able to let the dress out slightly and shorten the hem (by spending hours unpicking all the applique lace and sewing it back on a few mm up!). They made the whole process very relaxed and stress-free with their friendly manner, and they went above and beyond in helping me get the hang of putting the dress on easily, walking in it and picking up and arranging the skirt! Easy parking outside and a convenient book/cake shop next door for husbands-to-be. I could not have had a better experience - these ladies should be applauded for their amazing work!
