I don’t usually leave reviews, but today's experience certainly warranted me taking a few minutes of my time and leaving feedback.
I was in contact with 4 people on today’s initial visit.
Every one was super friendly and very helpful, without being false or appearing to just be going through the motions.
I was even approached to see if I needed assistance, which I did and the issue of an item that showed as being in stock, but wasn’t, (through nobodies fault), was resolved beyond my expectations.
I also had to return later in the day, as the fence posts I purchased were too short for my requirements and longer ones were required. Again the two staff that I encountered were exceptionally helpful, accommodating and first class and swapped them over without an issue.
You have exemplary employees, which suggests a great working environment, which in turn results in a great customer experience.

Their cafe is to die for. Food is great and very reasonably priced. You've got to get your timing right as it us really busy but we'll worth the wait. All the food is cooked to order. Staff are professional and polite.

I know their delivery schedule is not perfect, plenty of times you don't have your delivery on the day you want. However the service what I received from the delivery staff is absolutely amazing. Today your staff was not only kind but really helpful as well, helped to arrange the sand and bricks to the right place, saved couple of hours of work for us. I wish I would ask your name, unfortunately I didn't, so I just wanted to thank you here!

Ordered for a morning delivery. Me and my team waited around until 5.15pm (45 mins overtime for the lads) rang selco numerous times throughout the day and told it shouldn’t be long. Delivery never showed up so rang the next day and was told the driver couldn’t access the road so they will be delivering in a van in 2 more days. We’ve had many materials deliveries in 18tone trucks so the driver is obviously just trying to get back to the yard before his hours are over. Now I’m stuck without materials for another 2 days nobody in selco seems to be very interested in getting this resolved sooner. Great one selco… 1 more trade customer gone 👍👍 would give 0 stars if possible

The most friendly helpful team! I needed a big delivery and Ashley checked the lorry would be able to turn into my road. The delivery driver called when he arrived and asked where everything should be unloaded so not to be an obstacle

I am not sure if i should give 2 stars really as most of the time i just get on with my shopping and it’s fine, a couple of weeks ago i was doing my garden and ordered 2 bulky bags of MOT type 1 which was brilliant from ordering at till to arriving at mine, then i needed some sharp sand so i popped into the store, there was some bags of sand slightly damaged and i though i would pick then up as didn’t really need much so i asked a guy there how to go about it if there was any discount on the damaged bags and he pointed at another guy who seemed to have some sort of position within the store ( a manager maybe) and said he will help you however, the guy with the position ( the manager) seemed disinterested regardless of what help i needed, and started rolling his eyes without knowing what i was after, i believe he was Eastern European, i have never felt so small in my entire life so i said don’t worry not a big deal, and purchased 3 undamaged bags.
If this guy was my employee and treated customers like that he would have been out of the premises by noon!
All staff i have encountered at this brand are brilliant but the manager…
Seems at this branch staff lead by example and managers are power hungry

Trade only. Great customer service, these guys know their stuff and are really helpful and friendly. Good selection and excellent prices. They also deliver if you have a load that won't fit in your own vehicle. Open 7 days but early close in Sundays (like most places). Still great place to get trade supplies.
