We had the best Afternoon Tea today at Wilstead. It was very fresh, lots of sandwiches and cakes with plenty of tea/coffee. The scones were amazing. We were very well looked after and would definitely recommend to others.

Visited today, it's ok but not as good as it used to be, it's looking a little bit sparce in places. They still have some good items in, just doesn't seem as many as there used to be, having said that we still managed to spend a hundred pounds during the visit. Certainly worth a visit just don't expect too much. Didn't try the cafe but it did look very good.

Nice little garden centre, with a good selection of plants and gardening equipment, and a good hardware section,
As an added bonus it has a car show on a Sunday now and again.

Brilliant garden centre and cafe. Staff very friendly and helpful. They allow a local classic and retro car club to meet there on the second Sunday of the month. Good selection of products at a reasonable price.

Great garden centre. Which is at the heart of the community.
Good for knick knacks. Gifts and interesting little finds.
Good selection of garden and conservatory furniture.
Plenty of plants and supporting goods for the garden.
It has a hardware store inside the garden centre. Separate business. Great for finding those DIY bits without the stress of the big multi chains.
Good restaurant. Selling a varied selection of foods. From snacks to full hot meals.

Great place for a self service Sunday carvery, very tasty, well cooked, gets very busy as it only serves the carvery between midday and 2pm. They could do with having two tills open to pay though, as the the food soon cools off while your waiting to pay.
