Had the most amazing Haddock & Chips! Freshly cooked for me whilst I waited. Cooked really fast by two attractive young staff😍I was served in a polite, efficient manner! Well done keep it up!😎😁🥳👍🏽

Regular fish come out looking like a very small portion. Tasted lovely though, made up the meal with a bucket load of chips - again were decent.
The shop is grotty, needs a clean to be honest.

Medium chips dread to think what a small looks like. Handful for over 3 quid enough to fill a burger tray. Not really well cooked neither. Unfortunately will never go back.

The food was ok not the best fish and chips we’d ever had but not the worst. I had the scampi which was really nice but others in my group had the fish which they said wasn’t the best. The service was quite disorganised and we had to wait 15 minutes just to have order taken, even though we were next in line (a phone-in order also took priority over everyone else in that time). We were there about 5pm and they didn’t have a lot of the things on the menu either, not sure if that’s always the case or if they had just had a particularly busy day.

Visited here good Friday evening, very expensive, peas were bland, curry sauce tasted like it was packet sauce, fish cake.... Well don't bother because it's one of those frozen coin fishcakes you get from the supermarket, fish was small and overcooked, hard batter dark brown and not much fish due to being overcooked, chips were OK. Jumbo sausage was dry and tasted cheap! Very pricey, I live on the coast and get the same thing for £8.50 and lovely portions and tasty where this cost me £19.40.
Will not go back, trust me.. AVOID THIS PLACE!
AND DON'T RESPOND TELLING ME IT'S GOOD QUALITY AND A GREAT FOOD BECAUSE IT'S NOT, YOU ARE BOUND TO SAY THAT.. TRUST ME READERS STAY CLEAR AND GO ELSEWHERE!!

The fish was nice, but when you order a LARGE fish and chips, as a sharer you would expect something reasonable, especially for £8.15.
However when I opened the box, we got the equivalent of a small fish and chips!!!!.

You will see from the images I used a teabag for size comparison, and you will see LARGE in the lakes is clearly not as large as you think, and I don't use monster teabags.

The picture with 2 meals shows a regular (left) and a large (right), and I cannot see what it was I was paying for? Its a shame as they taste great.
