Can not beat the service.

I went into the Guiseley branch today, sent by my husband who told me to ask if they had different sizes, I was then dealt with by nick who said tell him to have a look on the website and then you'll know what sizes we do, I didn't know what to say! Quiet clearly he was not helpful and a very arrogant man ?

Placed an order on line,informed the product was in stocks and available to collect. When I collected it being prepaid no waiting and served by a very pleasant member of staff.

I use screw fix in Guiseley freqently and the staff are always nice and helpful. However i went to the shop today on the 27th of april 2022 and i was verbally abused by a member of staff called joe.
Joe started being highly agressive, shouting and insulting towards me. All becuase i misheard what he said. He told me i was agressive and had a chip on my shoulder(totally untrue).I apologied to him multiple times to try calm him down, even tho i didnt do anything wrong!
This was witnessed by another customer who was taken back. My order had to be finished by another member of staff. I have never exerienced such bad and agressive customer service! I have filed a complaint to screwfix about joe.

Would have been 5 stars but for the unfortunate who did not know they had 25 mm long wood screws. Offered 20 mm long but could only locate the out of stock 25 mm screws. Sorry must try harder
