I went in Screwfix store in Ely yesterday, I took with me an old strip light bulb from my kitchen and got a new one. I had to get a LED one which came with a different type of starter the guy who served me couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I was talked through exactly what I needed to do and when I got home it took me 2 minutes to change them over. Most DIY stores and Builders Merchants don't have time or the inclination to explain to a woman something which is so minor and basic a task to them. But he did. Thank you so much for not making me feel like an idiot. Great customer service. Thankyou

Waited 25 minutes from entering to leaving, for 2 small parts. Only one other customer in there when I arrived, and was already being served. Saw at least another 5 members of staff walking around in the store - not sure why one of them couldn't have served me?

Feelung sorry for a more mature woman working in the Ely branch. Walked in for a collection, 4 people at the counter chatting, totally ignored me until a lady came and delt with me. One star for their customer service but i would give the lady 5 stars

I had a problem finding the correct connection for a new gas hob. The young lady ( sorry didn't get her name) was superb, sorted my issue after checking numerous connectors . Really first rate service.

Very helpful staff - I went to collect an order, but I also needed help to find some particular sized screws for a garden table & nuts for a stair gate, both of which had gone missing during a house move. Luckily I had examples of what I needed and the staff at Ely took the time to size these & locate suitable replacements - both of which fitted perfectly when I returned home - one very happy customer. Thank you
