Not a good place to go for an amateur DIYer. Attitude from the get go, because I disturbed the conversation of the people behind the desk. Had no interest in helping me find my part, which is a shame because previously a man was very helpful. I doubt that I will go here again. Probably B&Q instead

On this occasion they let themselves down as they could not find my order when I went to collect so had to reorder and keep me waiting a few more days. Have had better experience in the past. They were very polite and apologetic.

I have used many Screwfix stores over the years, not so much recently. This Sunday afternoon I visited the Braintree branch. I needed a plumbing part, I was assisted by a lady, she looked up the part, then went to get the part so see if was exactly the one we needed. Nothing was too much trouble at all. Absolutely fantastic customer service that is so hard to find nowadays.
Thank you to the lady, ( sorry I didn’t get her name ) screwfix could learn a lot about true customer service from you.
