I stopped using Saxoprint a a few years ago as they kept losing orders and taking weeks to refund the money after a lengthy case from me. I tried them again and guess what from 2 orders which were weeks late, 1 never turned up and I am still awaiting a refund 6 weeks after they took my money. Hundreds of Pounds and its always the delivery companies fault and they never off any solution just advice that I have to wait.... It is printed outside the UK, hence the un reliability.

I WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS FIRST.

30 Years as a designer and I tried an alternative printer, Saxoprint. Provided artwork as I always have to others with no issue, yet Saxoprint have completely cocked it up. Their response is a finger pointing reply and a 'go jump' attitude.

Thankfully order a 1,000 to try out first so no massive loss, but I know never to send any work their way again..... so heed everyone elses similar reviews too and avoid this company.

DO NOT USE SAXOPRINT!!!

The production of the items and customer support who have contacted me are based in Germany (Which I have no problems with), however it’s the standard of service which is the issue.

I ordered some CD covers to give to clients and after an initial issue with the size of the artwork supplied (Which I provided in higher quality than needed and they called to say they didn’t touch artwork so I needed to size it down and re-submit it) which delayed my order as I was away and then I get the order from Germany and this is the quality I received.

Bearing in mind the grey on the F and Media are meant to be grey and the text at the bottom is black. Every single CD cover is different and features a range of grey and black on the designs and some look like they were printed when the ink was running out. I could have done better on my own printer.

Spoke to customer support who said they would re-print them, but I asked for a refund so I can get them done elsewhere as speaking on the phone and email to them give me no help and if this is the print jobs they produce for people, then stay away everyone.

Provided Saxoprint with a PDF file. It opens and renders fine in the five different pieces of software I have tried. Saxo's system messed with the file and made the print unusable. They said it was our fault and refused a reprint.

We are a design house, so do this stuff multiple times per day and have in-house print experts. This is the only printer we have ever had issues with.

I have been a very loyal customer always in good terms with this company. However, during the recent order they proceeded with my order having re-instructed on my art work 3 times and made it changed. They decided to change the size of my 1000 brochures from A5 to A4 instead, causing me over £300 financially damage. Initially they took the responsibility but when it come to money money they changed their decision and blamed my art work despite I was willing to pay them should hey need my artwork amended.

We have neen in business over 40 years and the treatment we received from this company was disgraceful.
Terrible customer service. Poor workmanship, admitted mistakes that were made by them for our 1st delivery of flyers, which provoked a credit being offered on the next order.Unfortunately, we had placed 2 orders in one go, the second being a folding document to promote our business and hold p.o.s. material.
We were advised by Saxoprint to change the spec and alignment that we submitted as the fold would not be central to our images. We were then sent a 1000 unaligned images which didn't show when it was folded!
When we complained, they took no responsibility and when asked about the credit offered from their mistakes on the flyers which were upside down on the flip side! We had no response.
Very unprofessional company, who have cost our small family business a lot a of money.
We will never use them again.

I was so disappointed with the last few jobs from Saxoprint, with misaligned folds and cracking. When I challenged them over it, they have a coverall 'T&Cs' policy that vindicates them (in their eyes only) of any quality of job they can be bothered with. I stopped using them in March and I've never looked back. I used them because they were cheap in price, but the cheapness of service was not worth it. Luckily, there are better value and more professional companies out there.

Go up
