A pleasant easy stroll from the Harbour car park to the visitor centre. The centre has a very spacious Café to stop for Coffee and cake.
Then on to the bird watching hide. there are lots of different birds to see, Avocets, Curlew, Egret, Cormorant, a variety of Ducks, Gulls and other birds.

One of the nicest UK beaches. When the tide is our the sand beach is just stunning. We caught some crabs on the line and little one even had a little swim. We even saw a seal.
Great place to take doggy for a walk too, lots of people had their dogs off the lead which was lovely.

It's the opposite side of the river that runs through Rye and looks across to Camber Sands. They have multiple look out points for bird watchers and photographers. You will need a long lense to really capture a good shot, more than 210mm ideally...

No matter how many times we visit here there is always something different to see. Great for a day out with a picnic as there are plenty of places to sit. Take some of the little tracks off the main walk and see the wildlife.
We found a pond full of Marsh frogs.

No parking, no signs, no disabled access so you can't even get to the visitor centre with the supposed mobility scooters. We weren't even sure we were in the right place because there aren't any signs.

One of the South coast's best birdspotting reserves, a beautiful coastline, the Discovery Centre is superb with really friendly and knowledgeable staff, a great cafe !
