A spacious and charming farm stall with a lovely wine section. I found what might just be the world’s best doughnuts, seriously, they were incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. So many flavours to choose from too. Just wow. The coffee was also top-notch. A must-stop spot if you’re in the area!

The place looks lovely from the outside and is obviously very popular as it was booked up. Most staff were polite, smiley and friendly.... apart from the very blunt and rude one that reluctantly greeted us without a smile, said someone will be with you in a minute and literally the minute we say down said, what did you want, quite abruptly. We hadn't even had a chance to look at the menu! She just wasn't friendly to anyone, I think she was called Vicky. Like I say the other staff were lovely and the shop looked amazing when we went in after our coffee. Lots of options, including gluten free.

We have visited twice in a few weeks.
Very nice venue ,extremely good food in the restaurant,we thought reasonably priced.(cottage pie very good)
Spent a bit both times on meat,slightly priced higher, maybe ? the meat was extremely good, so I don't mind.
Luckily, we have happened to pass by on motorcycles as having to visit Triumph, which is on its doorstep.
Both are very good find!
Will by chance be passing by tomorrow as at Triumph again, so I shall be eating there again.

A large farm shop restaurant on the outskirts of Taunton.
Plenty of parking because they are often very busy.
Ingredients are sourced locally where possible and I believe a lot from their own farms.
The selection is good and the quality is very high.
There always seems to be enough staff to cater for the large amount of customers so no long waits, drinks are brought out within minutes and food obviously freshly prepared arrives shortly after.
This reviewer is always very happy with everything.
Pricing is on the higher end,
£17 for a burger but it's a high quality burger so this does stop return visits.
I recommend booking to avoid waiting.
I honestly believe you would be pushed to find a better farm shop restaurant.

Popped in after visiting Sheppys . Was hoping for a breakfast but we were too late. Toasted sandwich and tea.
Toasted sandwich could have done with a couple more minutes, not all cheese was melted. Coleslaw was delicious. But we waited 15 minutes for a cheesecake! Not sure it was worth the wait! Needs more lemon!!

Bearing in mind the geographic area of this establishment, we were surprised to find it was not dog friendly. We arrived with our dog and had to sit outside. And this despite there being ample room inside to partition an area off for dog-owners.

And when we ordered our meal we were asked to pay a gratuity up front. Weird! Poor service in regard to being compelled to sit outside and having not yet tasted the food, we obviously declined. Gratuity is for outstanding service, not an up front payment on the off chance that the meal might be nice. In the event, the food was okay. Nothing special.

Sunday Roast
Great selection and service. Chef carves the meat, but you then self-serve your vegetable selection of which there were a lot to choose from. Friendly staff, clean and tidy.

Amazing breakfasts not just your standard bacon buttie!
The farm shop is so well stocked with the most amazing produce, from the deli counter to the fresh meats. The cakes and James are brilliant too, especially the fresh donuts
Just don't let your kids see the jellycats!
