Free parking, it was pretty empty because it’s tucked out the way, you can download a map by scanning the code as you walk in. There’s benches dotted about the trails and it’s flat and easy to walk around, there’s not really any proper paths as such, it’s grass and can be a little bumpy on the tracks as tractors leave their marks on the trail, so it’s not really suitable for wheelchairs but I was able to push a pushchair along the trails easily enough. There’s plenty of wildlife if you look for it, it’s a good place to photograph herons, it’s very peaceful and well maintained!

Beautiful place and a flat land to walk for meditation and self time. Many animals, lots of birds, I saw chinese water deer too. Easy parking, very peaceful place.

Great for peaceful walks with the family (and dogs). Only one path is no dogs (due to needing birds), but there is also a large area for dogs to roam off lead. Also a picnic area close to the car park. Being RSPB, as you'd expect, there were plenty of birds!

Ouse Fen is a lovely place to see wildlife in its own habitat, my personal favourites are the vocal Lapwings as they dance in the sky, a beautiful Barn Owl that simply glides over the reeds in such a haunting way at dusk. And the sounds of a Bitterne can be heard, I would describe the sound like someone blowing into the top of a glass milk bottle! It's absolutely amazing to hear this beautiful bird after almost becoming extinct, not so many years ago.
A serene place to walk, with benches dotted around so you can sit with your camera, take in the veiws and listen to the wildlife. Stunning sunsets can be caught here, too.

We had a pleasant walk on a cold winter's day at this very large reserve. Although the landscape isn't very varied it's still nice to walk around, with quite a few different birds making an appearance.

Bear in mind it's very flat so the wind whips across it even when it doesn't seem particularly windy elsewhere. I massively underdressed and had to walk quickly to avoid freezing! There are no facilities beyond the carpark, either, so no chance of a hot drink unless you being it with you.

As someone else mentioned, the main entrance is now PE28 3PS ... but even then I missed it and had to turn back, so keep your eyes open!

Within one hundred yards of entering, we came across a flock of bearded tits feeding on the reeds. What a start! A bit quiet bird-wise after that, but what amazing views across the huge reed beds. I'm sure there will be more birds at other times. Just as a sweetener, though, we were on our way out when a short-eared owl flew around the adjacent field and perched a hundred yards out so away. Beautiful. Will be back!

Wonderful open fen, with firm underfoot paths. Always something to see bird wise, along with the odd water deer.
Take your time, stop and listen for a few minutes, you'll see and here more.
