Rivergate is a nicely enclosed shopping centre. The place isn't usually crowded and it's neatly kept considering it's mostly used as a pathway for most when moving from ASDA to the other side of the road. From charity shops to diners to salons.

Rivergate is a quirky little shopping mall, just outside the Peterborough city center, close to the river and the passport office.

Its great to find little centers like these with independent shops run by the people that own them. The mall feels like it has its own community and own character (rather than being just another large malls with the same high-street chain shops).

Here, you can get your hair cut, keys made, have lunch, buy some funky clothes, buy a phone, have a coffee or an ice cream, get some really good fruit and veg (no really, the fruit and veg shop was really good).

I stayed here for a coffee and doing some people watching waiting for my passport to be processed. I liked the vibe.

Most shoplifters love the central location, the keystone-style security and lack of CCTV. Experienced tealeaves particularly liked the nearby breakfast options and proximity to the train station; just 5 minutes away by unlocked bike.

There is a serious shortage of parking space for cars with kids, not sure why. This is very unusual. At the moment I think a number of such reserved parking spaces must be four times of existing number.

Convenient and accessible shopping experience Rivergate Shopping Centre, though it may not stand out in comparis on to larger or more modern malls. The centre provides a good mix of essential retail stores, such as grocery outlets, clothing shops, and a few specialty stores, making it a practical stop for daily needs. However, the variety of shops might feel somewhat limited for those seeking a wider range of options or high-end brands.

Nothing of any real interest for browsing, but for bubble tea or fabric it's not bad. Clean and tidy, but not a place I visit regularly.

The indoor shopping arcade connects Asda to Bridge Street. The indoor retail arcade features a prominent Italian restaurant, boutiques, bags, furniture, Greek restaurants, cafes, bubble tea cafes, and second-hand shops are just a few examples. The arcade attracts customers who use the passageway from the Asda parking lot to the city centre.
