This year having visited the cafe with my family we were very disappointed with the food service and atmosphere, load music. I am a reviewer that always gives true account of a visit. On this occasion I spent £60 on substandard food, the meals arrived no cutlery had to wait by that time the food was going cold, my meal of beef pie arrived looking like a pancake, flat, was microwaved which softens the pastry. My teenage grandson ordered a cheeseburger meal It was a kids meal. It is not value for money. It was not a pleasant visit. We will not be returning. Pity last year meals were fresher and nicely cooked. Have they changed hands?

This place was OK. Busy settings on a Sunday, free parking which always helps. Waitress was a little close invading my personal space, food was not great. I ordered the tuna pasta. Smoothie was good though. Otherwise clean and friendly service. Reasonable price

Just went there and got the ‘chicken supreme baguette’ listed as £5 on the wall with a drink £1.50 so £6.50.

I paid by card I asked for a receipt they charged me £9.05.

When I contested this he said oh its because theres an extra charge for a baguette I pointed to there signage it and showed him it said £5 he then said oh its because I wanted salad in the baguette also which is an extra charge of 80p.

He then gave me the change back out of the till.

Everywhere else salad is normally free in sandwiches.

This was obviously just another made up charge.

The chicken supreme was meant to have bacon, chicken, sausage and ham.

When I got back to work to eat it there was no ham or bacon or sausage in it.

And about 5 small chunks of chicken.

Utter rubbish and utter rip off will not go there again.

They also messed up my colleagues order 1 Star

There was absolutely nothing supreme about it, I thought it would be a decent loaded sandwich by the guys description, if I hadn’t of got the added salad (of which I was charged extra for it literally would have been just a baguette with a small amount of mayonnaise and a few tiny cubes of the cheapest chicken you have seen.

If you want to go to a real cafe go to Anatolia or Tulip they are decent food and they don’t try and rip you off !

Thank you for your reply to my review and I stand by what I said. You failed to tell the truth twice
1. You said you do not microwave but in the next sentence you admitted microwaving the pie for 20 seconds.
2. You say that you gave me a £4 discount, no you didn't in fact you overcharged me by £4.50. I have checked your menu again so if you gave a £4 discount that would mean you would have overcharged me by £9.50 because I did not ask for a receipt. I will say to anyone visiting your establishment to get a receipt and check it at the till. There are a number of customers who have been overcharged on your review site, I am considering a complaint to trading standards because you had the affront to lie about the event. Robbing the OaPs is ' 'criminal'. Never have I given such a disparaging review before.

We sat at the table with high hopes and the steak and chicken we ordered arrived well cooked. The steak was cooked before, at a time I don't know. and was heated and placed on the table. I definitely didn't eat it. And everything was without salt. There is no salt in any of them. There is no additional salt on the table. Salad comes but there is no oil or anything on the table to put on the salad. In addition to all this, it did not come with bread, we asked for extra bread. Regarding the service, we asked for chips on one plate and rice on the other. Rice came on both plates. When we asked for chips again, we received a harsh response from the waiter. I did not like the service either. My advice to you is definitely do not go.

Lovely cafe near the river in Dobbs Weir, I just fancied something healthy and lunch didn't disappoint. I ordered the salmon with broccoli, new potatoes & salad, the plate was huge and the salad was really lovely, crisp & fresh, plus 2 large salmon fillets, boiled potatoes, in fact I couldn't finish it all but luckily I have a dog with me who can. Highly recommend this cafe if your ever passing this way, I think I will go for breakfast in the morning before I move on. Thank you, Sarah, Bettie Bloo & Rod.

Good food doesn't always need to be fancy. Sometimes you just want a fry up, or a simple burger and chips. This place is great. Simple food comprehensive menu for hot and cold dishes, breakfasts, lunches and some proper dinner dishes too.

Only place locally that offers all aspects of a proper breakfast including black pudding and hash browns.

1 thing that is always guaranteed, you are greeted with a smile. You enjoy your food and coffee. You leave with a smile and will come back.

Update 04/04/2022, they now serve baklava! It was great!
