Brilliant store and staff. There is no other shop in the area that comes close to this. If they don't stock the item you are looking for they will order in for you very quickly. They are very knowledgeable about both raw and dry/wet dog food and will work with you to get the best nutrition for your individual dogs needs in your budget. They don't push the expensive stuff on you. Wide range of horse products including some for hairies which aren't always accommodated for. If a staff member is busy with another customer you can easily spend the time waiting just looking at the vast array of products available. They won't rush with the customer they are dealing with as every customer is important to them. That's my kind of customer service.
I haven't used their delivery service personally, but I know people at my yard who do. The delivery driver is extremely courteous when delivering, stopping delivering heavy bedding to allow my disabled mum to climb on board our horse without risking her spooking. Others just don't think about these things.
I've been a professional member of customer service bodies, teaching, training and providing consulting services to top 50 UK companies. I can't fault this local company. It makes me happy to know my horse and dogs are getting the best quality whilst I'm also helping local employment and a local business. What more could you want.

Went here for the first time this week on the recommendation of my daughter and her partner.
What a pleasant change to walk into a pet store and find someone who knows what they are talking about, and at the same time extremely helpful and friendly.
As someone who had a successful retail shop in nearby Clitheroe for 25 years.
