Got myself a laptop from these guys and I have to say, their servie is second to none! Great communication, very knowledgeable about what they are selling and took the time to email back and forth to make me a bundle with some games. I've been reliving my childhood memories ever since! Customer Service? You decide.
I needed a laptop charger. quick delivery from eBay or Amazon but I'd rather support small local independents. I rang
Resale it. yes they had them in stock. I said I'd go the next day. Be sure to come between 10 and 1 she said. that's the only time we'll be here. no problem said I. I'll see you then.
I am 80. no car. walk the two and a half miles. first there is very little signage to help you find the place and no name on the unit. it was all closed up. I buzzed thinking there might be a Back entrance. no response.
so I rang her.
All I got was attempts to pass the buck to me. I should have made an appointment. Que?!?you said get here between 10 and 1. that's a loose appointment. if you wanted something more precise you should have said so.
I should have had it delivered you said. yes but you didn't mention that yesterday. not a sign of any empathy or desire to put things right. I told her I'd walked miles to get there. in an ideal world somebody with good customer care would have said I'm really sorry I'll deliver you one free delivery but she was too busy shifting blame to me.
I'm aware it's a trivial order but who knows what the next one
might have been? and a close friend owns the biggest computer training biz in the North West.
so sad.

Very helpful, good stocks of interesting gear, including Retro Gaming hardware. Prices very reasonable too.
Ring them before visiting as they are not always open.
