I have bought a number of auction lots from Ramco and found them to be a reliable vendor on all fronts and can recommend them to others. The items sold are accurately depicted with photos of the actual items, not stock pictures, and I have had no issues with quality and reliability of items bought. Their sales processing is quick and efficient and items are despatched very quickly at reasonable postage rates. Packaging is high quality and items are well packed.

I regularly buy at auction, and have had varied experiences with auctioneers across the country, including a decidedly unpleasant one, recently.

However, my experience with Ramco has been excellent, with the acid test of an issue, which has been resolved very easily and professionally.

An item was posted to me and arrived damaged, so I contacted Ramco to ask what could be done. It’s a rare, vintage item, and rather than palm me off onto the courier, Ranco very quickly came back to me with options for a resolution. The matter was resolved very simply, and entirely to my satisfaction.

This is how customer service should be. Thank you very much!

In the received lot 15% of the delivered items had major damages, i.e. not as per auction description details. Seems that the company's quality control department is not doing it's job good if at all.
Talked to the sales executive about it, provided photos of the damaged items as per his request for his review. After 10 days still no reply from the company.

Positive side: quick shipment, clear website, decent delivery costs.
But it's a no-go for me for next time.

P.S. after my initial review the company reverted to me with a response and a fair suggestion to replace the damaged items. I consider this being a professional way of handling the situation. Thus adjusted the review from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Absolutely great company. I've purchased items through them in many auctions now, all of which have been assorted AV equipment. There's no guarantee it will work but it almost always does. Their shipping service has been just as good with all the items I've received being packed extremely well and sent either with parcel force or by pallet. Bidding gets chaotic if you want multiple items but is preferable over a live auction.

We have been buying equipment, mostly electrical and power distro equipment, from these guys for about 10years now. I would highly recommend using the monthly auction site if you are looking for high quality tools, electrical gear and ex MOD equipment. The packing and shipping service afterwards is also very efficient. All the team are also very helpful whenever we need more info about a product. Thank you
