At least one miserable unfriendly male serving regularly.
Quite well stocked and convenient.
HOWEVER: Extortionate pricing to make them very rich.
Example: Stanley knife £13.25
Exact same product at Screwfix around the corner £6.58
Recommendation: Shop elsewhere.

Very well stocked and setup shop, I phoned first and they said they had what I wanted, the assistant was really friendly and helpful, my wife and I were very impressed and will visit again, good to support local businesses!

Very thankful to miles for fixing our machine without an appointment! A bolt came loose and disappeared on a job, meaning the machine wasn't usable. Miles fixed it for us on the spot, meaning we could get on with our day. Payment was offered but miles kindly refused.

Nice, old fashioned hardware shop. I was amazed at the range of things in stock. Try to resist the urge to ask for "four candles"😉 Prices are competitive with online offerings, I will certainly be back.

Having recently moved to the area I have found myself constantly needing to pick up the odd bit. This place has a surprisingly good range and I like that I can pick up one or two different size screws instead of a massive box. They’ve been very helpful and it will always be somewhere I go before trekking to one of the big places

Very helpful staff member helped find a solution to my “bolt seeking a nut
“ problem. Despite having no knowledge at first site they put their brain to work and cut down a new bolt, matched to a nut and bingo I was happy. And all for £1. Brilliant.

Neded a couple of mains plugs. Used this as was local to where I was working. Excellent selection of products, friendly staff and take card and contactless payment. I wish there were were more of these traditional hardware shops .
