Visited the store today to purchase some furniture and I must say the whole experience from visiting the restaurant to making a purchase of several pieces of furniture was absolutely first class . The customer service provided by staff was outstanding I didn’t get the gentleman in the restaurant name but he was so helpful and made sure we all got exactly what we wanted with nothing too much trouble. Thank you.
The two ladies who we dealt with whilst purchasing several pieces of furniture were also first class with their customer service again couldn’t have done anymore to help , they were both professional, polite, friendly and made us feel very valued and like nothing was too much trouble . We will definitely shop here again in future and would also recommend to friends and family. Thank you to Angela the store manager and Wendy for all your help, patience and friendliness today it was a pleasure to shop in a store with first class service from the staff. Definitely deserve 5 star review would give more if I could.

Nice store, but restuarant not so good paid £37 for 2 meals a Kids meal and drink. Total waste of money, very poor quality

My brother with learning difficulties went to this place to buy a slow cooker, to then have an employer accuse him of being the one that stole in the past by saying " this is the same one you stole last week" when my brother tried to defend himself, they carried on accusing him. They refused to show the video footage to prove their claims until the police came and insisted on seeing this footage, and the footage showed that they had the wrong person. Didn't offer a proper apology, and no discount for their mistake. Lets just say my brother left without buying the slow cooker and never wants to return to the store after publicity humiliating him in front of the whole shop. Do better

Great department store that is forgotten by too many people.
Great for clothing selection for all. All departments are a good size and the staff are always very friendly and happy to help you with any queries.
The store is located opposite the towns multi storey car park and has in store restaurant and toilets.
If you have not visited the store, you should as you will be surprised just how great the store is.

Agree with previous comments, great for gifts and home wears. Good for menswear accessories. However, there is a great lack of plus size clothing (Male and female).

Cleanliness also when you move further into the store requires a great deal of work. Away from near the entrances, there are central parts of the site which need serious renovations as it makes an unpleasant shopping experience due to feeling very drab, dark and tired.

If improvements were made and money invested, could be the town go to store; but

It was very hot today outside and in store. No air conditioning, shame. The cafe upstairs was SO HOT and stuffy, I didn't stay for a coffee, also only ordinary coffee that you can make yourself, not very impressed. Nicely spaced out tables, so a shame it was ridiculously stuffy and hot, let it down. Food looked nice, felt sorry for the staff having to work in there. Downstairs, a good selection of ladies and gents clothing stores within. I went in to buy curtains, but hardly any and all were ring top ones so no good. Good selection of quilt covers, bedding etc. Their kitchen department is well stocked Downstairs too.

Bought a lovely electric ottoman bed and mattress. Service and delivery was exceptional. X
