Worst coffee I have ever had … awful. The place smells of rubber due to there being some mats down around the fridges.

It is extremely run down and desperately needs a refurbishment. Really tatty and scruffy. Hazard tape on the floor. Damaged work surfaces. Holes in walls. Lighting not working. Doesn’t look good from a hygiene point of view as a place that serves food & drink.

I've been coming here every morning for over 6 years and two things have never changed. The coffee is always great and so are the staff. This is hands down the best Pumpkin cafe in the UK, nothing against the others, just this one has Susan 😁. She's an absolute sweetheart, always has a smile on her face and loves to have a laugh. She's the extra kick with your coffee that you didn't know you needed lol

Nice wee buffet shop on platform 4, great coffee served by Sue! Small but just what you need to grab a coffee & a snack before catching your train. £4 for a large americano, not bad in comparison to other larger chains - you can get coffee & a bacon butty for £5 in the mornings 👍

This has long been a vital and convenient stop off point before catching trains. The staff, @Kudos to Sue, are friendly, nice practical layout and best of all a place to get a newspaper or magazine for a long ride. What a mistake to stop stocking news and current affairs. Please bring those back, we need them. Thank you, Sarah.

A little haven! We were changing trains at Wigan on our way down to the NEC... very early very rushed and very tired! So it was so nice to jump into the Pumpkin and have a chilled 10mins... staff were great, place was very welcoming and clean, lovely little spot! 🙌

I stopped for a bacon butty & latte & it was very tasty & the latte much nicer than overpriced & too strong Costa's! The lady serving offered me a bargain meal deal for £5.30! She was friendly & welcoming & makes great coffee 😊

Vivienne is an absolute delight. She turned our stressful and bleary-eyed start of our journey completely around. She was friendly, helpful and really took time to chat with us. What an absolutely lovely lady and a real credit to the cafe and the station as a whole!! X
