I went specifically to buy a pan just for eggs and pancakes. They offered me a small non stick ceramic pan, selling it as the best for eggs. Very disappointed! I can’t use it for eggs as it stick in the pan and there is more egg in the pan than in your plate. Really a waist of money, I really was expecting a better quality for the price..

Never felt so judged in a store before, honestly ruined my trip to Freeport... Had a staff member following me and my mother around the store, presumably so we didn't steal. Was the bobble hat and skinny jeans really giving thief energy?

You work in a shopping village, expect people to come in and browse, even if they don't fit your white, upper-class, OAP demographic.

Cool frying pans but if I have to worry about being judged and internally shamed by the people working there just by looking at your products? I'll be staying as far away from this place as possible ☺️

Braintree pro cook shop gives so much choice , you can get a little confused. I spoke to Chloe today for advice and what a pleasure it was . No pressure sales just asking what I needed then advised from that. I even had a go at chopping veg to get a feel for what knives I liked. I came home with new pans, wok and knife set. They price matched from the internet which is good sales technique. Well worth a visit if saucepans ,knives are what you want

Good prices on the new knives and utensils we needed. Stagg were great and offered a hands on demo and pointed us to the most cost effective deal to purchase what we wanted rather than just a transactional sale.

The shop was bright, clean and well laid out. The staff were very helpful and got me a basket when I ended up buying more than I came in for! The sales process was easy and the staff carefully wrapped the products to prevent scratching. I thought e-mailing the receipt / guarantee was a great idea as I usually end up loosing them. A great shop with good quality products at a reasonable price.

Cannot fault the staff, really polite and welcoming and good product knowledge. We love this shop and buy a lot from here as the ranges are endless and the prices are affordable. We always enjoy going into the shop and shop online too. You can't go wrong. The products are are great quality and long lasting and the colour schemes are not always in your other homeward ships. I called in the sales looking for a dinner set, the young lady who came to assist was very helpful once we had decided which one to buy she then proceeded to take it all to the till and wrap each item and pack each item as sold individually while we continued to browse around the shop. Everything was ready for us when we got to the till. Our experience was completely stress free and I will not hesitate returning. Added bonus as well as we had lots more shopping to do at Freeport they offered to look after our goods until we had finished shopping. Even though it was sales time and very busy all staff were calm polite and willing to assist with queries.
