Panic set in May 2024! Im 68 years old and getting married for the first time. Sea themed wedding, Aphrodite golden statue walking down aisle to sound of seagulls. Brighton ( me)meets Hay on Wye.
Nothing fits, nothing flatters the fatter me!
Then “Pretty Eccentric” like myself, is there on my hen night to Brighton. I walk in with my niece. There it was “ the golden shell dress” and the staff couldn’t have been nicer and more excited. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you saved my day!
You must go there, it’s a shop that sparkles in the sun, just like Brighton does. ❤️

I absolutely LOVE this shop. Michelle is lovely and so helpful, suggesting pieces & helping to create my full outfit for a 1930’s jazz night. The clothes are stunning & beautifully made & there’s a wonderful selection of accessories too. They are worth every penny as I get so much wear out of the pieces I’ve got. Highly recommend

Visited the shop with my friend after seeing the beautiful dresses in the window. Alana was kind enough to let us try dresses on with matching shoes and accessories, it was one of the highlights of our day!! We will definitely be back.

Pretty Eccentic in Brighton . What a fabulous little shop , it is so beautifully vintage with stunning dresses & outfits … The window display drew me in , the lady Alana was my assistant whom took delight in encouraging me to try on a stunning flapper dress & head band . Alana loves working in this shop you can feel & see her enthusiasm & she looks great herself which adds to the kudos of this little gem of a shop . It is full of well made old 20s style dresses & outfits , lots of beads , feathers , shimmer & fun . A must for an unusual outfit to stun in . Alana was so helpful . Thank you

Such a fun shop! So many unique dresses for all types of styles. Lucy was the sweetest and had such a good eye for styling from head to toe. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Brighton!

Went in to pick up a purse and managed to convince my friend to spend 300 on a beautiful dress. One of the staff called Alanna was so friendly and helpful, made the shopping experience really fun and great 😀
