What an absolute disgrace! I went into Pret A Manger! It was almost empty. I asked for a coffee and pan au raisin. I was given a coffee in a paper cup… I then asked to have my pastry made warm. I was told that they could not do that. No plate for my pastry either. After I paid almost £6, I sat down to my paper cup coffee and pastry in a paper bag. What a disgrace.

This Pret in Winchester was pretty busy but all that you expect from Prets which is your favourite delicious and healthy cuisine, friendly, helpful staff, and very clean surroundings. Relatively spacious, which is nice when you have luggage with you. Good toilet facilities at back of restaurant.

Has a nice selection of foods to choose from, salads, sandwiches, mostly healthy options and the price isn’t expensive that’s why it’s always so busy as people are looking for a cheap healthy alternative.

Strong coffee isn't strong like before, i suspect Pret's HQ has implemented cost cutting in the expense of quality.

I'm guessing this is probably in line with the removal of the free coffee from the subscription service. They could have set the rule that extra shots is chargeable, I would be more than happy to pay that for the same quality (coffee strength as well).

Pret, I'm more than happy to pay extra for the extra shot, but not taking our "strong" order and then just give us a weaker coffee thinking we wouldn't notice it.

Wrong move there!!

Sadly this branch (Winchester) has gone down hill. Dirty tables, lack of cutlery etc and my matcha latte which I usually love was weak and tasteless. The staff were polite which was nice.

Such nice and welcoming staff. I had the mushroom risotto soup. It was okay. Nice and hot though for a cool fall day.
