Was the first week of January it was so quiet only a couple of people were in the shop. Had hoped to get a bargain, but there was nothing cheap. The shelves were full of Christmas stock not even reduced. It gave the impression of a store that was struggling. What with staff to pay lighting to pay for & the stock levels so high & not reduced to sell it won't be in business much longer. Sad to say I used to love a mosey round, but I only bought some coat hangers. Nothing else took my fancy!

It's been a while since I last visited Poundstretcher, things are presented much better nowaday. I needed some de-icer and paid £3.50p for a can slightly over priced I thought, as were most things that I picked up. A nice selection of Christmas decorations for anyone interested in such things. The pound has now been well over stretched, hardly a customer in the store a couple of weeks before Christmas, is nothing to do with any crisis apart from the one that the management are inflicting on the consumer, via the prices being charged, is my best guess!

This shop used to have great bargains in and it was a must every Saturday. Prices are now more expensive than any of the other stores in the area . Such a shame as they have a good range of items and free parking
