After being seated it took 20 minutes to get menus and even then my mum had to ask for them. Food took ages to come and it we only a toastieand 2 sandwiches. My toastie was still bread and the cheese in the tuna and sweetcorn melt wasn't even melted and the toastie wasn't even hot. I asked for them to retoast it and it was ok but it should have been toasted properly in the beginning. They were very busy as I suppose there's nothing else around here but when we were seated we should have been given the menus straight away and we should never have been left just to sit there with nothing being done.

A lovely wee place for coffee cake lunch or afternoon tea, great decor, very friendly and attentive staff, nice ambience and good value for money. Big choice of sandwiches toasties soup cakes etc. they only accept cash or bank transfer so be prepared. Well behaved dogs were welcomed. Looks like you can hire it out for private functions and it’s licensed!

I’ve been to Popsys many times and never thought to leave a review. It’s such a cosy, homely place with friendly family service, and plenty of choice of good quality food. Our German shepherd loved her first visit today and the treats (and water) that were brought for her (we didn’t ask for these - but the staff just know!!). Thank you for always looking after us xxx

We visited on a wet Sunday in September and we're so pleased with our visit. The place is amazing! The food was great and the staff are lovely. We often visit the area, from North Wales and will definitely return. I would absolutely recommend Popsy's to anyone.

I called in here for a bite to eat whilst on a walk. I felt very welcome from the moment I arrived. The staff are great and my food was nice. Keep up the good work all! *it's also worth mentioning that you can pay with cash or a bank transfer, which is handy because I didn't have any cash on me at the time.*

Six of us came to Popsys for tea & cake to commemorate a loved one who passed away 7 years ago. The atmosphere is divine, the decoration are so sweet and cheerful. The staff are incredible, they couldn't do enough for us, our youngest was particularly enamoured with the staff member who popped out the get the French bread. The food was gorgeous, between the six of us we had bacon sarnies, ploughman's, vegan loaf cake, rocky roads, kinder bueno hot chocolates, a huuuge pot of tea, a pulled pork toastie and a biscoff bake. Everything was good, well made, beautifully presented and tasted delicious. It was a fabulous morning and we will be back.
