I recently visited the newly opened Pooja Sweet Shop with high expectations, especially since they proudly promote the freshness of their produce. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t match the promise.

I tried several sweets and savoury items, hoping to find a new go-to spot. However, most of what I tasted lacked the freshness they claim. The most disappointing item was the vada pav — the bun was shockingly hard, like biting into a brick, and clearly not fresh. It felt at least two days old, which is unacceptable, especially from a place that advertises fresh daily products.

While their variety might seem appealing, the quality control needs serious improvement. I hope they take feedback seriously and work on delivering the freshness and standard they promise. Until then, I won’t be in a hurry to return.

Indeed a quick and reliable service provided by the staff and manager. Price was reasonable and so was the quality.

best Indian snacks in Crawley. Fast and friendly service and their warm savories are so delicious. Very good value too, not expensive. Kachori ball is my favorite, and also samosas and other items, all freshly made on premises so still warm and crispy. Haven't tried any sweet stuff yet.

Pooja Sweets & Savoury is officially my go-to spot!** Been coming here for days, and the food NEVER disappoints. The gulab jamun? Absolute perfection—soft, syrupy, and dangerously addictive. And don’t even get me started on the "vada pav—it’s top-tier." !! but it’s so popular that it’s always running out (a sign of how good it is!). If you haven’t tried this place yet, trust me, you’re missing out!
