Customer Opinions and Reviews

Pinnock's has received an impressive 794 reviews on Google My Business, with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars. Customers appreciate the friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and excellent food and drink options. Many visitors also enjoy the outdoor seating area and the option for takeaway items.

One satisfied customer noted, 'My wife found this gem after a little research. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere was very relaxed and seemed to have a lot of regulars judging by the banter. We went for the afternoon tea. The advantage with theirs is that you get to choose the cake and sandwich. Particularly useful for the more fussy members of your family. Portion size was just right and amazingly enough a choice of filler coffees. All in all, we would thoroughly recommend a visit.'

Lovely food and coffee in a beautiful old building. Upstairs there are sofas. Be aware that the staircase is a bit steep and there are low beams. We have been here a few times and I would recommend their pancakes. The atmosphere is great however if you go in the winter, make sure you wrap up warm as it is a very old building and the heating isn’t great. In the summer, they do also have a bit of outdoor space. I would definitely recommend.

We were truly touched that after 10 years, they still remembered us! Such a warm and welcoming place – we always come back with a happy heart. Everything is delicious and clearly homemade, with real care and love. Highly recommended for anyone looking for genuine hospitality and amazing food.

In my opinion one of the most underrated places to get a coffee in Surrey. The head barista really knows his coffee and they have a great selection of cakes.

I asked for an espresso but was told it would be more like an aeropress/drip style. I was happy with that as I have one at home. I was recommended strength 6 and have to say it was very tasty. For cake, I had the white chocolate, pistachio loaf which again, was very nice.

Service was friendly, fast and informative. Can’t ask for much more. Highly recommend.

I knew about this gorgeous little cafe but had forgotten. So it was a glorious surprise when a friend suggested it. They were SO good with specific dietary requirements. And the food was delicious. They do vegan hot chocolate which was an absolute dream!!! A perfect lunch!! And a must visit!!!

Really cozy place, gives you the medieval vibes! I had the chicken sandwich - it was really good, but the coffee later was too watered - tasted like tea. Maybe I have ordered tea thinking I was having a coffee, I don't know. Anyways, the place is really nice, totally worth the visit.
