Welcoming and friendly.
Although busy they found us room upstairs.
Good food. Nice cake, staff was nice also. Great place to stop by after a visit to the old castle or the St Edmonds church next door.

Great little cafe and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The fruit scones, clotted cream & jam were amazing after a hike up n down winnats pass in bad weather. Will definitely be coming back again next time I'm in castleton 😊

I would give 6 stars if I could. Excellent service and baked goods were simply perfect! Scotch eggs (traditional and cranberry) were some of the best I've ever tried.

A lovely tearoom with amazing food!
We visited the tearoom after a walk around Peveril castle and were greeted by the lovely staff who quickly found us somewhere to sit. We had 2 breakfast and the food was cooked perfectly! The pot of tea was huge! It's definitely what was needed after our morning walk. I would definitely recommend and visit to the tearoom

We had one of the best cooked breakfasts we’ve had in a long time here! The warmest of friendly welcomes - including for our Golden Retriever dog - to a beautifully decorated, modern space. The food was superb quality and the full cooked breakfast (which included tea / coffee, orange juice and copious amounts of toast) was FANTASTIC! Thank you so much. A real find in Castleton.

Excellent service and food. Nothing was too much trouble. We had allergies and intolerance issues to take care of.
They catered for nut allergy and gluten, Dairy intolerance without a single problem.
