I had a really bad experience when shopping in store today. I was due to buy a couple of gifts, however I couldn’t see any staff. I thought this was odd but continued to browse whilst I was waiting, I then proceeded to go upstairs, but I was abruptly greeted by a woman who was sitting in the closed in store coffee shop. With what I describe has a scowl on her face. She commented that I couldn’t go upstairs with a dog. Her tone was unfriendly, abrupt and rude. Now I I totally appreciate that due to soft furnishings it maybe not be appropriate for people who have dogs. However it’s the way you speak and greet customers when they enter your store. Your staff member should have greeted us when entering the store and asked if we needed any help. I’m afraid to say the experience was horrible. This is such a shame because I wanted to buy quite a few items but instead you have lost my custom and I will not be returning or recommending your shop. Please take note on how to treat customers in future. If not then you shouldn’t be doing this job!

I bought a light online in September for £70 - have never received it and can't get hold of anyone despite numerous attempts. An absolute disgrace! Is this even a real company? Do not buy anything from them online - you'll never receive it and they'll just keep your money

We love this local shop as they sell beautiful items at a reasonable price.
However, we were a little disappointed when we had the hot chocolate in the lovely cafe. It tasted like watered down chocolate ( we are aware it is free trade)
so we will not be having that again. On the upside, haven eaten there in the summer we had a lovely meal back then in the beautiful courtyard.

We all like to support small businesses, which makes it all the more disappointing when they let you down. In the future, I'll always make sure to read reviews before ordering online, because my experience with this company mirrors so many others - order not shipped, emails ignored, and phone not answered. I now await a full refund.

I ordered online on 3 November. Paid via PP. Have sent email asking where my order is and left two telephone messages. No response so far at all and well beyond the date given for delivery. I would never buy from this outfit again and will resort to a PP refund if the lack of response continues. Having read some of the other reviews it appears that my experience is fairly typical.

Do not buy from their online store! I bought a cake stand over a month ago, still hasn’t arrived. They shop doesn’t pick up the phone, doesn’t respond to emails, had 1 response by instagram chat, but nothing since. UPS reference given, but just a label created, UPS say they are still waiting to receive parcel.

It sells cards. They had 2 wedding cards to choose from. One was Bride & Bride the other was Groom & Groom. I do wonder if wokeness has gone a little far! I did ask if there were more to choose from as I need bride and groom but all I got was a shrug.
