I’m not from the area (but now wish I was) .. so no bias on this review , but quite honestly the best chip takeaway shop I’ve been to 100% .
We went for chip tapas :-
- Cod bits
- Scampi
- Chicken Bites
- Chips
- Cheesy Chips
- Jumbo Sausage
- Fish Cake
- Pineapple Fritter
- Mushy Peas
- Curry Sauce

And it was all fantastic.
Classic fluffy and crispy chips (not many small ends) nice big chunks

The chicken bits are unreal
The curry sauce over the cheesy chips is something quite special.

Scampi good size. Nice and juicy

Fast service booked online. Nice and hot.
Friendly staff.

Not from the area but was a recommendation. When you drive there and see the massive queue they must be doing something right? The fish is amazing!! So fresh. All of the food was freshly cooked to order. Very good tradition fish and chips!

Staff were super friendly. As South Africans from the Cape, we are used to good fish and this fish more than met our expectations. Food was lovely and hot and super tasty. Quick and easy pre-ordering system on the website. Highly recommend.

Called in to Peckish Fish'n'chips 6.15pm'ish, ordered straight away on walking through the door. Order completed in less than 5 minutes and eaten in the car outside immediately.

Absolutely delicious. The fish was a decent portion and nice and crispy and flavourful and my daughter loved the chicken chunks. Good chips and the homemade tartare sauce was divine.

Staff are super friendly and online ordering and pick up slots keep the queues down. Free parking across the road makes pick up stress free.

Well worth a 45 min round trip from Port Isaac. So much better than the chippy there.

First night of our holiday …. 4 hours setting up a caravan, awning and dog proof awning…. Decided to have fish and chips and am so glad we picked Peckish… I had Haddock and chips, hubby had S amount and chips and we had mushy peas and curry sauce… literally 10/10 cannot fault these they are up there with the best we’ve had… utterly delicious
