Can never understand why this place isn't busier. Great parking. Wheelchair friendly. Dog friendly - not sure about all shops. Quite a few independent shops and places like Denby, The Grape Tree, The Works, Pavers, Cotton Traders etc. A good charity shop, a couple of nice clothes shops, bag shop, a largish store with lots of different things to nosey at with an ice cream parlour and garden centre. A kids soft play area. And more. Plus two/three cafes all very different.
Extra activities and markets happen throughout the year.
Plus the toilets are spotless! A great way to pass an hour!

We called in the run up to Christmas. The decorations were understated but quite lovely.

Nice little shopping centre that has lots of good shops and cafés. A soft-play centre to entertain the children. And when we went at the weekend in the summer, free activities to help entertain the children that was really involved and great.
Parking is also available right next to the shops.

It's never too busy, but it's SO boring here. There's not many shops that are worth looking in and the cafe is terribly priced. We paid £35 for 3 people and the food wasn't great, the cake was awful. Coffee was good though! Service slow. I can see why people don't rush here.

Not too busy, compact and bijoux but with a reasonable array of shops. I doubt you could visit here every week but worth a visit every now and then. Good mix of shops, lots of gift ideas and good quality produce, love how dog friendly it is (although not over run with dogs). Not for you if you want a full on retail therapy day but very good for bits and bobs and outdoor clothes, from cheap to high end.

Havnt Bern for a while. So was OK for a stroll round, some of the shops in there are a bit pricey so I wouldn't do random buying , I do like to shop but I do I do have my limits, i liked the little coffee van selling takeaway, it was lovely sitting out in the sun and we didn't have to queue inside, good idea, toilets were lovely , changed since my last visit, full marks for those

This place has really filled out since we last visited. Most of the shops are now in use and there are more food/drink options. Plenty of free parking available - just watch out for the ducks who live in the car park! Disability parking spaces available, ramps to enter/exit the village, and most shops are accessible by wheelchair. The public toilets were clean and accessible, with wide stalls and low-level hand-washing facilities. Pricing-wise, mostly on the moderate-to-expensive side, with a few exceptions like The Works and a charity shop.

Peak Village is a nice hidden gem of a shopping centre. Great place to stop by on way to Matlock Bath etc. Plenty of car park and has a nice atmosphere where its not to crowded. Clean public toilet too which is a bonus. Has some interesting shops, garden centre's and cafe's, some are quite expensive than others.

The only negative is it could be used for some more business to open and if they did it would be fantastic as there's a lot of vacant building.

Highly recommend a visit!

It's nice for a short stop when passing by in or around the area, I wouldn't recommend it for a special journey as the shops are not very exciting so you'll probably have looked around the interesting ones in around an hour.

Lovely area though and lots more to do nearby so easy for a drop in.
